Its a nice smaller campground with beautiful scenery and right on the water. Weve been camping there for 30 years. Our favorite!

What a great little campground. Room for 10 sites on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Cumberland. The camp host, Patsy, was great. Shes from the area and very knowledgeable and helpful. Didnt use the dump station as it is in quite a precarious spot.

Great place

This is our absolute favorite place to camp, and we try to go once a year at least. The new host Patsy was SO nice. My husband fell in love with her foster dog - but she wasn't giving him up. LOL. The campground is always clean, bath house is always clean. Always a great experience. The only down side is that the dump station is in the worst hardest to get to spot. We actually installed a back up camera on our camper just for this campgrounds dump station. Other than that you can't beat the views, the boat access, and the peace and quiet. We have stayed in every site (there are only 10) and they are all great.

Great place

This is a unique camp area. There are only 10 spots as it is very narrow on top of a small ridge. It is best suited for tents, small motor homes or small trailers as there is little maneuvering room in the site. The dump station is narrow and somewhat difficult to use. You actually have to back your unit into the station which is difficult since it is on a strong incline. So we just took our fluids home and dumped them here. The sites have power and fresh water and most are very level. It is a nice spot, but just very small and there is very little if anything to do like hiking or hanging out on the lake unless you have a boat. If you just want to hook up and enjoy the solitude from WiFi, this is a nice place.

This little slice of heaven was so unexpected! We really enjoyed the cleanliness, spaciousness, and beauty of these sites. We will definitely be coming back! You cannot beat this place for the price! We ended up going to Conley Bottom Resort and Marina for our boating needs and that was great. Only a few miles away. We also liked the fact that there was a boat ramp on this property. Great for when we have our own boat! Overall a great experience!

I don’t want to say anything good about this place because if I do, it will be harder for me to book a site on the BEST campground in the entire area.

Very quiet campground.

We had a great time. We were on site 6 and it was beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing campground.

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at Fall Creek Campground the last week of October. The facilities were clean, efficient and adequate for our needs. We traveled to Lexington to attend a horse race and to Kearns to take a Steam Engine train tour during our stay. The lake had already been drained for the winter and there was not much boat traffic. We would go back to Fall Creek campground if we are ever in the area looking for a campground.

Very quiet and peaceful. It was hot and muggy but we still enjoyed ourselves.

We absolutely loved staying at Fall Creek! Although it rained, we didn't get muddy (which is a big deal for me)! The sites are spacious, quiet and such a nice place to stay. My kids said it's an old person's camp spot, just because it's not a great spot to ride bikes & only 10 camp sites vs >50 with tons of kids ...... I'm ok that it's an old persons camp site, maybe I'm old lol There's a guard shack & Patricia and her husband were so kind and helpful with any questions we had! We so enjoyed chatting with them =)

The sites are very clean. The restroom/shower facilities are spotless but very humid. Also, the water does not get cool, only warm or hot. We would definitely stay here again. Very safe and quiet. Great access to the lake. Convenient to Monticello too.

Not our favorite, small lot in the sun. Nothing to do and not easy assess to the lake. Only good if you want to stay in Camp. Not close to town.
@TaraB7135282 · Camped on Jun 13, 2022 at Campsite #7
Beautiful & quiet! We had site 7, there is a path down to the lake & we played like kids! Camping without kids is pretty rad :)
@RaymondG774002 · Camped on May 30, 2022 at Campsite #3
Camp host was awesome but I would not recommend for rigs over 29 feet. We have a 34 foot camper and had a difficult time getting in the campground.
@RyanW239 · Camped on Oct 1, 2021 at Campsite #6
I only have good things to say about this campground! It's only 10 sites which is amazing. It's high up but surrounded by a lovely lake below. Beautiful sunrises! The lake has a rocky shore and my brother and I brought home probably 20 geodes. Inside is white crystal. We were at site #6, which was great. Probably my 2nd choice. #7 is more secluded with better views. Only complaint is other campers. Everyone was great but one RV across from us ignored quiet hours, staying up until midnight listening to bad rock music and partying. They got all pissy when we told them to turn it off and honor the quiet hour. Then they next night they watched movies loudly. Whey even go camping? Bloody knobs.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
