Over all I enjoyed my week long stay. I had trouble with my site because it wasnt big enough to accommodate a tent, truck and a boat. You can keep your boat on the ramp if you like. The attended was very helpful in switching sites to suit my needs. The grounds are well kept. A word of caution is they dont have ice. There are some nice lake views and sunsets. They have a boat ramp and this is reason I chose to stay here.

First time here. My husband and I loved it!! It was quiet, and clean. The bathrooms were extremely clean! Usually cant say that about public places. We will be back next year with our grand daughter.

We didnt realize it was a little tight especially our narrow cul de sac exit. Overall, though we had a good time

We love Cumberland Point! We have a great view of the lake, the camp sites are well kept and the bathrooms are always clean.(I would like to say that it was very hot while we were there and we all agreed that it would be so much better if there was more ventilation in the bathrooms. I felt sorry for the proprietor having to clean is such heat.) The Proprietors are so nice and always make us feel very welcome. The only reason we did not give it a 5 this year is because they removed the Ice Box making it so hard for us to keep our coolers iced.

Loved the hosts. People who actually like what they are doing and want to make people happy.

Wonderful campground! Lives up to the great reviews. It has potential to test your maneuverability but we had no issues with our 24ft trailer. Shower house was SO clean, not a dead bug in sight. Nice to have gravel at the site. Great views and a swim area at the bottom of 11.

Cumberland Point is a clean and friendly campground. The caretakers make you feel so welcome and taken care of. Its a family oriented place to take your kids along. The grounds and bathroom facilities are always immaculate.

The host was very nice and polite. The camp sight was clean and spacious. It was a little hard to find with no signs showing the way from the Cumberland parkway. Other than that is was a very nice camp ground.

The campground attendants are THE BEST! They are so kind and helpful and just a joy to be around. The campground is well maintained too. Have been coming to this campground for almost 40 yrs now and will continue for many more years to come.

Nice site. We only stayed one night, as we were headed to a further destination for our family reunion. The lake was gorgeous and we would love to come back and explore the area. Be aware there are two RV parks with the same name. Two separate GPS took two parties to the permanent sites, not the short term sites. The short term sites are several miles away. I have NO idea what the address is for that location, but it is not what's on the website and unfortunately there is no mention of this in any of the reservation emails that Cumberland sends. We came in after dark due to multiple unexpected delays and had a heck of a time finding the place. We went to the permanent site and a resident gave us directions to the temporary site. He could have a fulltime job giving directions based on his feedback as to how common it is.

We always love Cumberland Point it never disappoints. Don’t like the speed bump on the hill leaving out of the campground, the hill is a hard pull anyway don’t need to have to stop on it and take back off, that speed bump needs taken out.

The host was super, very helpful. The facilities were clean. We rented boat from Conley Bottom and they picked us up at the campground dock, which is fairly steep to walk up and down to it. They need to have a few boat slips for overnight campers! The reservation says only certain wood can be burned, but there was only a few pieces of scraps available at the park. You could drive about 5 miles to purchase some from a local. The corps needs to step up and stock some wood…. Site 2 was fine for us. Site 4 was really large and had the open woods area to walk a dog. site 11 had the lake view. I watched folks struggle to get their campers backed up and into their locations. Overall good experience.

Pros: Host, Don, is awesome!! Super nice guy to chit chat with as well as extremely helpful with assisting in getting rv’s into the tight sites. Very pretty campground with partial views of water. Behind site 11 is the best view and a walkway down to the water. Restrooms were very clean. Cons: The entire campground is on a hill but the sites are level. You are entering sites on a downward hill to back up into sites. We have a 35 foot fifth wheel which was really rough to get into site 3 due to the narrow road. There is a drain ditch along the road which is extra inconvenient to maneuver around when backing into sites. Our parents have a 27 foot trailer that was tight backing into site 5 as well. Larger campers would be much better off using sites 12-30 on the other side rather than 1-11. The campground really needs to extend the pavement in this area. The dump station is in a horrible location on a slanted hill which would make it nearly impossible to completely empty tanks. We used our portable dump tote to empty here for that reason. Sites are pretty close together. The water is viewable, not accessible, from each site (except site 11).

Don was a wonderful host. In fact everyone was great! It was our first time tent camping in KY and it was my birthday. The campground is very nice only wish the bathrooms had a fan. It was very hot that weekend. We will definitely recommend it and be back in the future

A little slice of heaven. Mr Cummins is an excellent attendant and helps get you in your spot. They’ll lose a gem when he retires.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
