Sylvan Park Campground, Sylvan Grove, KS

Sylvan Park Campground in Lincoln county is located 56 min west of Salina, KS with an elevation of 1,466 feet. There are a total of 27 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to mid September. 25 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 60 and 137 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 24 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $150.00.

Check in by host was easy and very friendly. Park was simple to maneuver around and we were pleasantly surprised to find water at all sites. The park sites were spacious, well shaded and very clean and level. Registration online was simple and all discounts were honored. Will stay here in future if in the area. City of Lucas was very interesting especially The Garden of Eden.

Our favorite camping spot in Kansas. This park is always mowed and trimmed. The showers and bathrooms are always cleaned and smell fresh. The camp hosts are friendly and always available to help. There's also great space between camp spots and shade available. Family friendly!! The Core of Engineers have done a wonderful job here over the years. This can't be said about other COE campgrounds.

Very well kept, clean restrooms and not crowded. The camp hosts always check us in. This is our favorite spot to camp at Wilson. The shade and quiet make up for not being close to beach access.

We stayed in site 2 and it was plenty long for our 38 ft. fifth wheel. The park is spread out so you are not right on top of your neighbor. Betty the camp host was so sweet and accommodating

Had a very nice stay. Bette, camp host, was very nice, friendly, & polite. Bathrooms were very clean as was the entire campground.

Nice campground with lots of mature trees. Camp host was hospitable. Sites were clean. Cellphone service was lacking.

It is peaceful. The sites are large, nost with some tree cover. Families come up on the weekend to enjoy the activities on Lake Wilson. During the week, the campground is less than 20% full. The camp host is very friendly and interacts with people well. You can tell they like being hosts.We have been staying here for 6 years an will continues to do so.John.

Cellular coverage is very poor in this park. If you walk to the Southern or Western most part of the campground, you might get coverage. This is with T-Mobile and ATT. The lake was great and the campgrounds are well taken care of. I liked the hiking and bike trails.

The park was very well kept. It was quiet and somewhat secluded. The camp hosts were super nice. The trail was well maintained also. We will definitely be going back to this park.

This is a nice, well-kept park that does not have a water view. The checkin was closed but the gentleman who stays in the front camper came out and was very nice. The park ranger also checked in on us. We stayed one night at the end of a very long trip. The only reason for a lower rating is due to the fact that mowing (3 of them) began very early in the morning and lasted over an hour. Although we were the only camper in the first several rows, the biggest and loudest mower came to our lot first and went around very closely several times. A rock even hit our dining room window as we tried to sit and relax, luckily it didn’t break. Another came to mow what he couldn’t reach about 45 mins later. We realize they possibly wanted to get our site nice before we came out, however, we had nothing outside the camper to even slightly show we were staying and actually started to prep before they finished so there wasn’t any am relaxing. Our dog was also infested with ticks after just an hour of relaxing outside.
