We really enjoyed our time at Whitebreast! The volunteers were friendly and did an incredible job keeping the campground nice. The facilities were clean and well maintained (thank you!) The beach was nice! There were picnic tables up by the parking lot as well as bathrooms and outdoor showers to get all the sand off. The swim area wasnt as big but we appreciated that all the kids could touch in all areas. We tent camped in spot number 88, which was perfect. We were close to the bathroom, across the street from the family bathroom, close enough to the wooded area to get sticks and wood for the fire. The grate on our fire pit was curved and didnt fit the entire pit, which made cooking challenging, but we managed to make use of it. There is no shade (yet) on this spot so bring a popup. However, there are two smaller trees that we used to tie our clothesline too. There is a dumpster, water spigot, and wood for sale by the entrance.

Great place to camp. Bathrooms and showers were decent and clean. The showers just need a longer curtain or lip on the floor to contain water. Nice overlook to the lake, but walking to it for this sites. Had some mowers come by at 8am one morning, otherwise quiet.

Beautiful lake, clean facilities, handy for a morning trip into Pella for Dutch bakery. Too hot to hike so we appreciated some shade up from the beach.

This was my first camping trip out on my own. The camp ground was beautiful! I dont have a bathroom in my camper and the bathroom facilities there were perfect. Very clean and well kept. Will definitely return!

Campgrounds are always very neat, mowed and clean. Camp hosts very helpful and friendly. We arrived at lunchtime, so none was in the booth to check us in. Later they arrived at our site and checked us in so we didn't have to run back up to the booth.

Please be mindful of your check out times and respect them. After finally getting settled in we had a great time at the beach, fishing and exploring. Red Rock never fails.

Camp ground is never a disappointment .we love to stay here. Bathrooms are always clean and bug free ! Fishing on the lake could be better but the lake is trying to remedy that by adding structures for fish.

Whole stay was, as usual, awesome! Sites are larger than anywhere else we have camped!No problems at all except for a few bugs that bothered us.Staff volunteers kept everything from the fireplace pits to the restrooms in excellent condition, have no issues at all and will continue to camp here!

We were greeted by a friendly and helpful camp host at the check in booth. Our campsite was gavel and level and there was plenty of room between neighboring sites. We were near to a bathhouse that was clean and provided hot showers. The only thing that was missing was a garbage receptacle nearby.

Camp sites need alot of attention pads are over crowned,sites with less grass need to have rocked areas with fire rings in that area,50 amp service on all sites, trees need trimmed at the sites, etc.

We arrived after dark and the signs are very small to identify each site, but after driving around for a few minutes we finally found ours. I would say it is the best site in the park! There was no one on one side of us and we were right across from the shower house. Very beautiful place.

The park is very well kept, and bathrooms were clean. My only issue was I prefer to look at the sites before I take decide to one. We did that when we arrived and were followed into the park by the host and advised that we should register before we enter the park. I was towing a car and very much prefer to unhook the car in an overflow area then use the car to pick sites and register online. We were traveling in a group and wanted two sites next to each other.

Beautiful park. Nice sites. Our site had new rock that extended to the picnic area beside the camper. Very nice! Good Verizon cell coverage. Thank you for a great Knoxville Nationals week!

We were with some friends and could only reserve 4 days in Mead loop. Thanks to the wonderful host we were able to change our site and get sites in Coal Ridge loop with our friends. We had a great time, and may possibly return.

Our experience at Whitebreast was great. Bob and Trisha Brown were very friendly and helpful. They do a great job keeping the bathrooms and shower houses clean.

The staff is very accommodating. My only suggestion is to have more dumpsters distributed in the camp grounds.

The camper sites at Ponco were very nice. They were large and a nice breeze overlooking Lake Red rock which was nice considering how hot it was outside.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
