Clyde Glacier Group was awesome. Neighboring Palisades Glacier Group not really able to fit 10 tents. 20 fit fine at Clyde. Nice tables, 2 bear boxes and we were able to set a nice tarp with the trees there. Loud water creek rushing was nice.

We were a party of 17. We reserved the Clyde Glacier Group site and it was perfect for our group with shade and plenty of tent space. It was very quiet with the rushing river nearby. We stored our food in the bear cabinets. Saw some dear across the road. We didnt have any problems. We enjoyed the Big Pine lake hike nearby. Drove to June lake for the day to enjoy canoeing and paddle boarding.

Don and Lyn were great and accommodating hosts. It was a clean site. The site can accommodate up to five (5) cabin tents, and two (2) motor homes. Good trout fishing and hiking trails to the seven lakes. A good site to take Den of Scouts, since it can accommodate a large amount of individuals.

Don and Lin excellent host managers, it’s always nice to see them. The camping site is very clean, restrooms as well. We love that we get to experience nature at its best.

The perfect campsite for our trip. The site host was friendly, knew the area well and dealt with all issues with ease. There are two large bear boxes, a self locking dumpster and two shared vault toilets between the other group site and this one. There are multiple areas to set up tents too. We were greeted by a black bear around 5:30pm, which was about an hour after we had arrived. Please be sure to keep all food and anything with scent in the bear boxes at all times! The site is approximately a mile down the road from the Big Pine Creek trailhead and there is a little campsite near there called Glacier Lodge, which has some supplies, hot foods and ice.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
