Forrest W. Bo Wood Campground in Shelby county is located 43 min southeast of Decatur, IL with an elevation of 617 feet. There are a total of 137 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. 133 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 50 and 150 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 59 sites have electric and water hookups. 78 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $48.00.

I stayed in a 38' Motorhome pulling a vehicle. The sites I had 106 &108 were full hook up and quite spacious but they had P gravel for a base which was very loose, and not compacted and it would of been nice if it was as it made the sites a little unlevel and they have no internet which would be nice to have available. But overall, a good spot and would stay again.

Large, shaded site with plenty of grass and a lake view.... I wish I had a summer home exactly where we parked the camper. This park is a true gem.

Host were fantastic and even checked us in after hours. :) Bath houses clean but could certainly use a new coat of paint.Pull thru sites have plenty of room; some have room for two vehicles, camper and boat and room to spare!The dog park is also great with a side for large dogs and one for small dogs.Thank you!

Have stayed there the same week for four years. Its always been a great experience. Clean and level sites. We go with a group of 19 people. Would recommend Forest Bo Wood campground highly.

I cant say enough good things about this campgrounds. The sites were long and level. Our site was 115 in length. Long enough for our truck, boat and camper. Just a short walk down a path and could walk down to the boat. The lake was nice and quiet. Not many boats on the water as we would have expected. Would highly recommend!

We've stayed at Bo Woods many times. It's always clean, even the bathrooms. Some of the sites are VERY long. They all seem level. Shelbyville Lake is beautiful.

Beautiful campground and Campsite with lake view. Very friendly hosts.A bit disappointed in the messy firepit, and we cleaned it up for the next campers . Had a heavy rain one night and a Camp Swampy for most of the next day until in drained away. Had to leave day early, and was pleasantly surprised to get a day's refund! Didn't expect that. The full shade was very nice in 90's temps. 4.5 stars outta 5.
