The camp host and the park ranger were so helpful. We camp there a lot and just love it. Its great having a bathroom there as well.

Excellent facility. Been there before will be back. It does need a ramp to unload the wheelbarrow into the trailers.

Great facilities, beautiful park. Occasionally someone will try to steal your catalytic converter.

Nice campground. Clean bathroom. But the reservation system is whack. The site numbers are stupid as hell: 1,1,2,2,3,4,5,6. How about 1-8 ? We reserved 2 (having never been there) and found it close to the day use parking area or close to the bathroom depending which site #2. Some sites have “reserved” signs but these are not temporary, they are screwed to the posts. Site 6 had no reserved sign so we moved there and no on ever came by to check out our legitimacy. It’s a pretty campground with nice hiking but the reservation system could use an overhaul. Also Internet said “tents only” but horse campers that came in all had RVs

The horse camp was extremely grown up and had not been mowed in what appeared to be a long time. Walnut bottoms was the most overgrown I have seen it in years. The horse stall area and bathrooms were in good shape, but everything just appeared to be overgrown.

What use to be an amazing horse camp has now been taken over by hikers going to the midnight hole. There is no enforcement when it comes to parking. The midnight hole has been over taken and people line up and down the small one lane road with no courtesy for people with horse trailers. Even though there are no parking signs people still do it. They do not know how to share the road, back up or slow down when you are on your horse. We have tried numerous times to contact the forest service to have someone come write tickets being as we are the ones paying $29.00 night to stay there and they pay nothing. It really is sad. Please help by contact the service to give us back our horse camp! We are a dying breed. Other than that it is an amazing place for kids play and to ride. I really hate that they are running us all out for non paying, out of towners!!!

Thanks to all our Supporting Members

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
