Do not the way they keep closing the camp ground to do work and they never do anything. Then they close up July and then open back up until September 15 . Thats okay if they would do some work this the third year they have done this

A peaceful campground.Site 22 was facing the water with a little bit of water view. Bathhouse was clean and has AC. The Laundry house nearest our site had 1 washing machine, but out of order. Big dog park. Designated swim area clean and has a big playground. Campground is secluded & approx. 30 min away from town. Lots of campers during the weekend and lots of watercraft. Limited cell service and Starlink hit or miss due to trees and weather.

It is a very nice and clean campground with plenty of room in your site. Watch the Ospreys was a lot of entertainment.

I have stayed at Cotton Hill Campground multiple times over several years. Always, it has been a wonderful camping experience for my entire family. We enjoy bike riding, swimming, walking and camping. The Corps of Engineers always does a first class job when it comes to the recreational experience!

5 stars for CottonHill campground , we love this campground, HOWEVER. THE Park Attendants The Hudsons are the most rudest, disrespectful people we have ever encountered during a check in, after my encounter with them, I looked through past reviews here, on Google and other camping reviews sites and these 2 have lots of bad reviews for being so ugly to people, they make it known they are independent contractors, So to the USCOE contracting officer- you need to review the past reviews on the Hudsons and include in your CPARS, THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE PARK ATTENDANTS!!!!!1

A very well maintained park with excellent host. Close to our home making the drive not so much of an effort to get there. Fishing good too.

Campsite was not cleaned up. Had to blow off a lot of straw and leaves from site. This debris creates a slippery footing (especially for ladies) to walk on. Otherwise a great deal and a peaceful stay at this campground. We will come back.

We were able to book that day for an overnight stay in site #52, which turned out to be an easy drive-through site close to the lake. The campground area is beautiful and had plenty of trees. We had a nice quiet night and would have liked to have stayed longer but we were just passing through.

Dogs, dogs & more dogs , poo everywhere, no leases and on the beach & in the water. Most camp sites had 2 or more each. People said they were country people and didnt pick up poo. We like animals but this was too much..cant there be a limit ?!?
@JenniferL39143 · Camped on Apr 14, 2024 at Campsite #19
Beautiful campground with horrible hosts. Not sure why these people are hosting when they obviously dont want to help and are rude to new campers. Rangers office was also no help. Suggest USACE do a quality check on staff attitude.

Loved this campground. Especially the staff, Margret and Bobby. They were super helpful and friendly and made our stay a delight!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
