Hardridge Creek is a beautiful park with beautiful views. The bathrooms were clean and I appreciated the laundry facilities. Sadly, I can only give this lovely place 3 stars due to our RV and truck being infested with 100s, maybe 1000s of ants. This happened to many other campers near us as well. We understand that ants might be part of the camping experience but as seasoned campers for 40 years, we have only encountered this one other time and it was less severe.

We enjoyed our stay. All workers we encountered were courteous and helpful. The bathhouse was clean and conveniently located. The laundry room was clean and in good working order. The campsite itself was set up nice with a long picnic table, a campfire ring, an extra utility table, and a lantern pole. The only problem we had was with ants. Next time we stay here we will treat our site before we set up. We hope to stay here again.

they need to clean under brush between camp site and water, very overgrown and could not get to water from my site, site 12, other than that, the attendants were very nice and pleasant, and the park is great

I was escaping Florida to avoid Hurricane Debby in my camper. I found Hardridge Creek and thought it had pull through sites and seemed pretty. When I arrived without reservations the entrance station volunteers were fantastic. I had been looking at a site in the teens and they recommended site #41 on the water. I loved the site, it was very peaceful with water views on both sides of my camper and a beautiful sunrise. The only downside was the ants. I had them coming in from both sides of the camper, and it wasn't pleasant. Luckily I had ant bait so was able to eliminate them pretty quickly. I suggest feeding the ants outside to keep them happy and out of your camper. I will definitely recommend this campground to friends and family, probably random strangers also.

The place is kept very clean, specially the bathrooms. They have very clean showers too with hot water. They had staff driving around every once in a while. The park is always very quiet, no one disturbing anyone. The only issue I found is the insane amount of ants. Even spraying the tires, cables, hoses and jacks, with ant spray, they managed to get inside our RV, and vehicles. I guess they fell from the trees because we had them all over our camper. Also we had deer ticks on us when we wondered the paths to the lake. Other than those issues, nice park.

Camp site was beautiful- didnt catch many fish though. And the ant problem is out of control.

For those liking the water, this is a great place with easy access to the water. The hiking trail is plus with plenty of places to walk.

Everything was good except the parking situation. No room to park the boat or even the truck at our friends site. We had enough room to park a small car in front of our RV. But the place was nice.

A great spot, sites nicely isolated, great view of the lake. The biggest annoyance was the large "NO DIVING" post and sign in the middle of that great view and at every campsite. Could have mounted the sign to the railing at least, seems completely over the top in our opinion.

We enjoyed the camping very much, but the tiny little ants were TERRIBLE. They were everywhere! We sprayed and were able to keep them out of the motorhome, but they invaded our car too! We have been fighting them for over a week and they're still in the car! Be sure to spray your area as soon as you arrive!

Lawn service people came by while we were here as well as construction work which. beeping and rumbling could be heard and felt. Bathrooms didn't seem to be cleaned on regular basis as the same toilet was "dirty" for most of the 1 week we were here. Lots of traffic in and out of the camping area if you stay near the front.

We stayed three nights on our way down to Florida. We had a pretty flat site with plenty of privacy across the road from a bath house. Everything was nice as you would expect from a COE campground. Not a lot of things to do nearby which wasnt a problem for us. The only issue we had were the ANTS !!! They are relentless ! We sprayed out contact points (except our ladder ) with a raid ant product. The second day there they greeted us when we got up. Ran to town for some comet to encircle our contact points. More ants throughout the day and night and another trip to a different town for ortho home defender. There must have been so many ants in our camper that they were still in the camper 8 days later. The Raid ant baits we got were useless. Once we arrived at home we bombed the camper and put out some terro ant baits.

Great staff. Nice park. Some of the sites are closer together than we like. We would come back to this park.

A great COE campground! I loved it here! Yom and Rick Watson keep the campground in great shape. We arrived ahead of a storm with a tornado warning. Rick told us where the storm shelter was. I loved the pavilion on Pirates Cove peninsula. Such a nice touch. Beach was a pretty good size. The locals are very nice. I love the smell of the pine trees!

My biggest problem with all the Corp paks is that we like to camp up to two weeks at the time and it is a problem getting a site when we want it because of being tied up by weekender campers. When there were non reservable sites available it wasnt so much a problem.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
