Amazing place. Make sure you have a good spot for Starlink. campsite is big rig friendly and even though the campsite says 40ft but we are 43ft and fit just fine.

Like watching birds at this park. Too cold for our late February stay and showers were almost not warm enough. Everything else was great

Hardridge Creek campground is an amazing hidden secret! The sites are well thought out with room to entertain. The bathhouse was clean and well kept. The hosts were great! We will be back!

This was a very nice experience! Clean and felt secluded! Rode bikes and set out around the fire pit! Only worry was a wind storm came thru and we noticed a dead tree behind the camper swaying. That was a cause for concern. Over all we really enjoyed it and plan to return!

Camping and facilities were great. They deserve 5 stars. Only reason for 4 stars is there is only 2 restroom facilities/bath houses for entire campground. Maybe put a restroom on each loop????? Doesnt have to have showers being that there is two bath houses. Otherwise, clean campground. Beautiful area. Spacious campsites. Will definitely stay again

Another fine CoR campground. Some sites have amazing views of the water. Boat launch good for kayaking. Staff are very good. Only drawback is not much of a trail network, esp. for biking.

Campground needs more and larger playground facilities
@RobertH1222975 · Camped on Feb 6, 2025 at Campsite #40
Staff was very helpful. Site 40 was fantastic. Had a great view of the water. Also, site 52 was right on the water and very quiet. Only negative is they need more hiking/biking trails. Low cost was a real plus. Highly recommend.

Spacious sites. Most right on the lake.

This is a great USACE campground. Pirates Cove in particular is lovely with only eight sites sitting on a small peninsula jutting into the lake. Hosts are friendly, campground is clean. Like most USACE campgrounds, bathhouses could use updating but are clean and functional. I've been to this campground several times and will keep coming back. Note: Beware of sugar ants. If you're stay is more than a few days, have a plan to prevent ant infestation into the camper.

Quiet and restful. Beautiful scenery at the water. Great campground. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Site 76 was perfect! Nice and flat in loop shady to have sewer hookup. We look forward to going back to this site at this campground. T-mobile cellular service was perfect, without any issues.

Hosts where extremely helpful. Campground is well cared for and I will keep it on my list. I only have one negative. I had originally reserved a longer stay here, but due to storms closer to home, I needed to cancel the first couple of days. I called daily to request cancelling the first couple days but keep the balance of the reservation. The phone would ring endlessly and the opportunity to leave a voice mail never came up. Eventually my entire reservation was auto-cancelled. I was able to make a new reservation, but doubt there would have been any openings if the weather was better. When I arrived, I mentioned this and was told that a storm took out their phone service 2 weeks prior and hadn't been fixed yet. Somehow, whether an alert on their website or a text and/email message about my reservation would have been appreciated.

We always love going to Hardridge - it's such a beautiful campground, and it's in a good location for us. We enjoy making a day trip to Dothan each time we visit. We recently stayed in site 69, and it's a beautiful secluded lot. The back-in driveway is a little tricky, but the site was level. There is a steep trail to the water - easier going down than coming back up! The view of the lake is semi-obstructed from the campsite. Bathrooms are nice and clean! We will definitely be back!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
