Mckaskey Creek Campground in Bartow county is located just 15 min east of Cartersville, GA with an elevation of 853 feet. There are a total of 50 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid March to the beginning of September. 31 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 15 and 35 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 31 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $34.00.

Beautiful campground for our first time in our camper! Shaded, good space in between sites, and my 3 year old loved the beach. Staff was kind and helpful.

This is an older campground which is well maintained and clean with a very nice beach area. I was on site 44 and my camper was a little downhill but I managed to level it. I was on the water and could tie my kayak close by. Lots of paddling areas. I camped on a Tuesday and Wednesday night in August and it was very quiet with few campers, however I hear that weekends are noisy here.

Management was super nice at check in and they have a nice beach area and thats the only reason its rated fair. However, this particular campsite was not good for a setting up a camper because the concrete super unleveled and there are two trees that made it impossible for us to pull out the awning to our camper.

Wonderful place to stay, wish that the sites had their own sewage hookup. Other than that campground did not disappoint.

Love that our camp site was right next to the beach. Also loved at night time hear the water and the creatures very peaceful. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be coming back!!

we were unfairly sent away it's been 5 years since we've been camping here and we've never been through any situation like this they said we lacked respect for a local employee and that's not true we actually went over the allowed time but when they asked us to delete us with all the respect in the world so we did and they still told us to leave so I'm really hurt by all this!

My wife says the women’s comfort station was dirty with no toilet paper. Highly unusual because the comfort stations have always been clean and well maintained in our previous visits. Did mention it to a park ranger and some of the issues were addressed

Nice sites. Nice beach. Hot showers. Nice playground. Close to town . Overall we love this campground. We have our family camping trip here every year. It’s peaceful ,pet friendly , lake is beautiful.

Large camping spots mean you’re not on top of your neighbors. Playground for kids to play on, nice beach area. Wish the bathrooms were a little cleaner, but overall nice place and would visit again.

Campsite 42 was our site and has now become our favorite place to camp. And after walking through the campground, I feel like it's one of the best sites there, too. Spacious, easy access to the water, beach, bathrooms, and playground made this a perfect site for our family. Besides the great site, this campground was quiet and clean and very close to stores should there be any necessary emergency trips. We will definitely be back!

McKaskey Creek is a small campground but my family and my grandkids love it. They were able to play at the playground and at the beach. We were at campsite 14 and it is so big. My dogs had plenty of room to play in and the site had plenty of trees to shade us from the sun. We brought our boat and they had a parking lot to keep our trailer secure and safe. We tied our boat at the bank at our campsite. The staff are so kind and helpful when checking in.

I showed up and apparently I went over the 14 day period of stay. I got to the site and set up for about 30 minutes. The host shows up and says “ I’m gonna have to ask you to leave” which is fine, I get I went over the 14 day policy. But no hey or sorry or nothing. I asked about the refund and she said I didn’t get one because I used a discount… like what?? That doesn’t matter, you guys gave me a discount card for the place lol they were so offended that I was even asking about it… really?? I got the heck out of there and got most of my refund back.
