Upper Stamp Creek Cg Campground in Bartow county is located just 21 min east of Cartersville, GA with an elevation of 869 feet. There are a total of 20 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the beginning of September. 18 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 19 and 33 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. 18 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $34.00.

Loved that it was a smaller campground. The camp host were great, very friendly. The sites are small, most for tents versus campers. The only downside is we thought we would lakeview as we had a premium site but the underbrush was so grown up that we could not see the lake.

We had a mechanical problem and had to arrive late. Marty, one of the campground hosts was terrific and sent us a text that if we arrived late, could knock on her door and have the gate opened. It was dark when we setup got to the campsite. We woke up the next morning and saw what an awesome site and view. We will definitely be back. Too bad it's only open on weekends.

Great campground for our family reunion. We enjoy the smaller area and it's location on the lake is perfect for our small boats and children. We book 10+ sites and have no complaint about any of them. Every family member have their favorite spot that suits their needs. Our host Jerry, Lori and their furbaby Nash are so helpful and friendly. I give the host 5 stars!!

We have camped here several times over the last 10 years. This will be our last visit. They have let all the campsites that are waterfront get overgrown where you can no longer access the water from your site. They claim to be pet friendly when they are not at all pet friendly. You can bring your pet but only if you keep them inside your camper or tent. They walk around with clipboards and if you are doing anything other than how they want you to do it are down right rude. No dogs allowed on beach yet the dogs can't get to water any other way to cool off. We left a day early due to how dissatisfied we were. We weren't even asked how our trip was or why we were leaving. The whole experience was awful.

Great campsite! It couldn't be any better and the host Lori was a doll! The bathrooms were super clean. Had great phone service and the views were beautiful. Can't wait for my next visit.

We have camped here many times and have never been disappointed. The camp host are always so accommodating and friendly. One of our favorite places to camp. Wish it was open all week though.

Upper Stamp Creek CG is a small but very beautiful USACE facility. The facilities were all working well and were clean. The camp hosts were very friendly, attentive, and helpful with check in and check out. The first few sites coming in are under a heavy canopy of trees and are very well shaded. The sites down toward the tip are a bit less shaded but have immense and wonderful water views. There is ample parking for trucks with boats and boat trailers. With the huge spike in RV sales in the past 2 years it would be nice to see more USACE facilities with a year round calendar as more folks (esp in the southeastern US where we have a longer warm seasons) will be looking to spend quiet time out in nature during the late fall and early spring. Thank you USACE for these amazing places to visit!!

Wonderful first-time solo camping experience. Everything was flawless. I enjoyed meeting hosts Jerry and Lori. Such wonderful people. The neighboring campers were lovely people also. I am so glad I've found this place! Fabulous!

This is by far our favorite local park for camping. The park does have limited availability due to it only being open on weekends. The park is well kept and not too big. The lake is perfect for kayaks and fishing. The camp hosts are friendly, accommodating and are available. We always look forward to our time at Upper Stamp Creek campground.
