This place is BEAUTIFUL. The campground was re-done very recently and is in immaculate condition. Really couldn't have asked for a better experience, this has instantly turned into a favorite spot for the family.

Camp site was well kept, Bathrooms were clean and neat. Camp hosts always had time to speak with us and help in anyway they could. Hope they are back next year. The Kent's

The hosts were excellent. The newly finished sites were level and wide. Hopefully the trees will be allowed to grow and provide more shade.

The reservation process was really easy.The road in to the site has finally been resurfaced and is in excellent condition. The stop sign going in tricked me and I ran past it a couple of times, thought it was in an unusual place. When we arrived our bowery B had not been washed down from the previous visitors and was quite dirty, so we cleaned it up and washed it down before we set up for the 8 nights.The restrooms were kept up very well and clean. Surprised at the fee now to empty our holding tanks and the sewer marshals that were there to make sure we paid.We have been going there for a long time and always WELL pleased with the site and the atmosphere and the conditions. We had different groups coming and going during the reservation and it worked out perfectly. There is a lot of room. The tent sites on Group B are a little limited and often get the aroma of the sewer vent in the area.WE ALREADY HAVE NEXT YEAR RESERVED AND PLAN ON USING THESE SITES FOR A LOT OF YEARS INTOTHE FUTURE!! THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO USE IT. GREAT PLACE TO VACATION...

Doctor Creek could have easily have gotten 5 stars as it was quiet (albeit after our neighbor left it was quieter since he ran his generator 16 hours a day). Our spot was not level and the entrance in had a huge hump that made our truck bed contact the underside of the fifth wheel. Some of the spots looked small but the camp host said they were refurbishing Doctor Creek in 2023 so things might be a lot different.

This campground appears to be closed for the season despite allowing continued booking on Recreation.gov. Would highly recommend calling and asking whether it will be open for your preferred dates before booking. We had to stay at a nearby campground where there happened to be space because this one was out of season even though we had a reservation.

Web site would not allow me book the last two days so I had to move to another campsite up the road. Vey disappointed that the site was empty those two days.

The camp ground was closed and we weren’t notified. We drive 4.5 hrs to get there and had no place to stay. We requested a refund and it was approved but we didn’t get the full amount that we paid back.

The campsite host was very kind and helpful and let us move sites when our reserved site was too windy for us to set up our tent

The Campground was very nice. Most of them are nestled in some aspen trees, but some are more open. The bathrooms have flush toilets and a light inside. Each site had a bbq grill and a firepit. We had a trailer, but our site was level enough to if we wanted to set up a tent.

We had reserved #11, and before we arrived (after a TON of research and finding an obscure campground map) we found the map on recreation.gov is inaccurate. When we arrived, #11 was a total no-go for us - way too short! It wasn't even shown on the right side of the road! Fortunately #9 was FCFS and open, so we took that one instead. The camp host took care of things for us and we spent 9 wonderful nights at this beautiful place. We went hiking 5 times, and saw deer every day. As full-timers we have an arsenal of cellular providers, and our experience was the T-Mobile (data) was workable, Verizon (cell + a little data) could get texts no problem and phone calls too, AT&T pretty useless. That was UNTIL everyone started to arrive in the area for Labor Day weekend. Then we had nada, zilch, nothing! After everyone left, it was back to the previous mid-week experience. We absolutely loved our time here. Even when the campground was full we didn't feel crowded. We hope to be able to return some day.

The view was nice, but we had a hard time backing into our site. We have a 37’ fifth wheel and due to large rocks lining the road and site, there is not much room to maneuver.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
