Too many mosquitos but the campsite was fabulous.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The area is beautiful. We wish mosquito abatement would go on since they were overwhelming and everywhere.

This particular spot would be great for a small camper or a trailer. We were in tents and ended up pitching them on the parking spots because there is no flat or grassy spots with the spot. There is one spot that could be used but it's closer to another spot so I wouldn't plan it being available. The closer bathroom does have flush toilets and running water but no soap or paper towels.

Nice clean sites, no hook ups but a clean quite campground. A few bugs but not terrible. only issues was we were not as close to the lakes as we would have liked.

What campground host. Generator was allowed to run until at least 11:30 p.m.

We enjoyed our family reunion at the group site of the Frying Pan Campground. It gave us plenty of room for our tents and trailers, and the tables were long and nicely spaces. The fire pit was large and deep with space for chairs around it. Although the bathroom was vault, they were clean and well maintained.

Campground was in wonderful condition, clean and well taken care of. Our campground host was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. All around a great experience that we will do again, next year. The campground would benefit from some investment and upgrading.

Frying Pan camp ground was a hidden gem. The location was perfectly of the main road, all the sites are spaced just enough. The camp host was friendly and very accommodating. We would stay here again and again. Our weekend was peaceful and the lake is just a short drive away for day fishing.

Campsite was great, the host on the other hand was very moody. Kids cant ride bikes without being harassed or accused of looking into other camps at things laying around, or trashing bathrooms. Kids were 5 to 9 years old and caused no problems. Rented 6 spots. wont go back if same hosts are ther.

The location was fantastic as it was far enough away from road and the lake to have a quiet experience. The best part were the hosts George and Vicki. They had so many stories to tell and were so informative on local happenings. The best example was when the told me about the geese tagging.

The camp host was very friendly , the camp was very clean including the toilets ,not much shade and you have to drive to get to the lake and boat rentals.

Beautiful location and clean, well kept campground. Perfect spot between Fish Lake and Johnson reservoir. Flush toilets. Kids rode bikes all over. It is up on a hill, we had a group spread between 4 campgrounds and had to walk the hill to be together, but no big deal because it is a small campground. Woke up to mooing cows and chirping birds early each morning. It seems to cater a bit more to RV’s/tent trailers. (No hookups, but drinking water spouts set up throughout the campground) We had to set up our 10 man tent in the gravel driveway because of lack of flat tent spots, but that worked out fine for us. (Except group site has a large flat field for tents.) We would definitely stay again!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
