Beautiful campground, lots of space between sites, and quiet! Lots of rain though..

Huge Campsite. Able to fit my 10 person Ozark Tent. Two cars/trucks can fit the driveway. Near porta-potty and entrance/exit. Also near water Spigot.

Beautiful campsite. Only downside was the flies! It was almost unbearable, made it hard to cook/eat. We loved the views, super close to trails and Navajo Lake.

We have been staying at Te-ah annually for over a decade and unfortunately, the campground seems to just be less and less funded and maintained by the Forest Service. In 2022 the bathrooms had stalls closed the entire duration of our stay, last year porta potties were in place because the bathrooms were down, and this year we had two large wasp nests and a broken sink that we had to constantly patch together to get it to operate. We car/tent camp and backpack pretty frequently, so we are definitely not high maintenance. However, having a working sink is a perk, especially if you are going many days without a shower! Dixie National Forest/the government needs to get it together and provide this campground with some maintenance money. It's in a great, quiet location away from the crazy OHV crowd in Duck Creek and it's a shame to see its decline over the years.

The campsite was decent. One of the benches had a broken spot that ripped a pair of pants. The faucet in the bathroom needs to be fixed and has to be held with one hand because it is loose. The group site had plenty of space for tents and parking, but they were pretty particular about not letting more than four cars park even though there was space. Ten dollars per night for any extra vehicle and you have to park down in the lot. The camp hosts were nice, but definitely strict. Overall a decent experience, but did feel like we were being watched constantly. I might stay here again.

Great location away from the crowds camping at Navajo lake.

Camp host, very friendly. Beautiful area, great hiking trail along Navajo lake. Bald eagles nesting and flying along with Ospreys. Very close to Duck creek village, ice cave, mammoth cave, and Cascade falls. Loved it. Site clean, temperature crisp and wonderful. Site 039

Drove through Cedar Breaks national monument to get here and the views were incredible. Campsite and bathrooms were clean. It did thunderstorm the afternoon I arrived so be prepared for rain in the summer. Overall a great place to stop.

Wonderful campground hosts, and a very well maintained campground. We were happy that the upper restrooms were working again. Had a great stay! It would be very helpful to have more information on each space on recreation.gov.

Absolutely wonderful campground. Nestled in the aspens, our stay was nice and cool during the August heat.

Too many flies/insects in the camping ground so there is no way to stay out of the tent. There is no light in the bathroom and there is only one dumpster at campground entrance.
@ElizabethH3073 · Camped on Jul 16, 2023 at Campsite #38
To many flies.

For site 36. If you use the open fire to cook. Bring a grill top or metal piece to put over fire pit. Unlike other ones. The fire pit doesn’t have a grill that goes over it.

I know we are in nature, but the ants were insane. All over everything. The pad on this site was very sloped. Way too many Side by sides for my liking but I understand that seems to be the area. It was just a stopover on our way to the west coast. Would not camp here again.
@LeslieB6141102 · Camped on Jun 26, 2023 at Campsite #24
Nice campground. Sites are spread out. Bathrooms are clean. Potable water is available.

Very beautiful campground! Great, level place to put our tent, beautiful scenery, close to Navajo Lake and Cedar Breaks National Monument - would definitely go again!
@Christoph38781 · Camped on Aug 12, 2022 at Campsite #28
Tent sites need to be badly upgraded! Sites are fine if you are in an RV or trailer...but if you are using a tent non existent or very poor.. not level or small or rocky...time to do some maintenance!
@DavidW7736336 · Camped on Aug 7, 2022 at Campsite #35
I have been to this Campground for 7 years now for a family reunion. For the past 3 years the bathroom and dump station has been out of order because of a water supply issue. Fire ring grates need repaired. Still a beautiful place to camp among Aspen trees!
@PaulM6940902 · Camped on Aug 1, 2022 at Campsite #40
The area is nice. However, there was no water available on our side of the campground. And a tractor was parked right at the end of our driveway space. Porta-potties were very full until the last day we were there.
@JessicaP263047 · Camped on Jul 30, 2022 at Campsite #23
Not all the sites are set up for tent camping especially when it rains.
@KevinB3052996 · Camped on Jul 24, 2022 at Campsite #21
The map is wrong, sites 20 and 21 are flipped. I assumed I had reserved the pull through site. I was wrong, we had the back-in site across the street. The picnic table is on the wrong side of the driveway though if you are in a trailer or RV. In the end the back -in site was better in terms of privacy and space behind us, road noise not even noticeable at night. We picked up lots of trash from previous guest. Fire pit was full of junk. Never saw the camp host. One bathroom was closed and the dump station was closed which was meant we had to go up to duck creek campground to dump. The camp sites are smaller then they appear.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
