Cedar Breaks campground is delightful. One can easily walk to the Visitor Center and to the start of the major trails, very convenient. The dark skies are wonderful - we got to see the Milky Way. We were pleased to find a power hookup at our site as well as a water hookup at an adjacent site, clean bathrooms with flush toilet and sink. There was even a shower which we didn't use.

The campground was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful view from campsite 1. A .7 mile walk to the new beautiful visitor center. The trails around Cedar Breaks Nat. Monument was radical. Insane views and multiple look out spots! A total gem! Would highly recommend.

After a few consecutive nights in the big national park campgrounds, it was a pleasure to stay at this small remote spot. Sites are nicely spaced and I would definitely recommend staying on the outside of the loop. Great host and very hot showers!

Well maintained campgrounds with hot water in the facilities. (One shower was slow draining.)Dark sky, thousands of stars.

The weather cooperated perfectly. The Rattlesnake Creek Trail is a beautifully unique way to see Cedar Breaks from the north, with a binocular option to see the Bartizan. Well worth the walk, and you do not need to go the full distance.

Beautiful location. Quiet campsite. Fire ring. Very friendly and helpful camp hosts. Clean bathroom facility. Millions of stars in the sky! Altitude quite high, so breathing was an effort for me (not used to high elevations), but gorgeous camping spot. I loved it.

Sites inside the loop might feel a bit packed in but the outside of the loop is really nice and private enough. Wonderful to be able to walk over to Cedar Breaks National Monument easily from the campground.

Great campground sites with amazing views! Love the Dark Sky Park that allows for awesome stargazing. We come to Cedar Breaks to enjoy the quiet, peacefulness & time to unplug (yes - we enjoy that there is no cell service at the campground!). Love the precut supply of firewood available (for small purchase $) to use for campfires.

The road work improvement really messed up and cancelled 2 days. But, Tim the host was very helpful in moving us around.

We stayed here 1 night in end of July on a weekend. The campsite was full but we had reservation - # 18 - walking distance to their shower/bathroom. Host keeps the campground well managed and clean. Bathroom is one of the cleanest bathroom in camp. Please note there is 1 toilet per bathroom area, 1 sink. Temperature was in the low 50s. Trails nearby to Cedar Breaks National Monument, about 10 minutes drive to Brians Head Peak Overlook and about 15 minutes drive to Brians Head. I would definitely recommend this campsite.

This campground is one of our favorites because there were 2 individual shower bathrooms that had good warm water but the negative is only 1 stall in the women's restroom. So don't wait until you are in dire need before heading towards it. The hosts (Tim and his wife) were the most friendly and active we have ever experienced from many many national park camping spots. They actively came by to say hello and helped with our many questions, swept the sites, and actually took some action with campers with loud barking dogs. The weather was very mild and was a cool respite from the heat elsewhere. It was very easy to walk our dog on the paved paths out to the Sunset View Overlook, the Visitor Center, Point Supreme and the trailhead for the Ramparts Trail.

Sweet little campground, felt almost like a big family. Sunset overlook and trails close by, beautiful surroundings and scenery. Showers & restrooms were clean

Very good location for exploring the sites and taking the hikes in Cedar Breaks. The Campground host is doing a great job in keeping the sites organized. Our name was on the marker for our site, etc. Only complaint/criticism is that one (1) toilet per gender for a campsite this size is not enough. Recommend adding a couple of porta-pottys for the busy season.

Terrific camphost.

We stayed two nights at site #20, with our dog. Enjoyed pleasant weather (highs 78F, lows 50F from July 6-7) despite the heat wave elsewhere. Be prepared for bright sun and high altitude (we suffered fatigue & headaches the first night). To nit-pick, our site's tent pad was composed of 3/4" gravel which made for an uncomfortable surface to walk/sleep on. Bring an extra groundcloth & padding if you decide to sleep on ground.On the plus side, we saw lots of wildflowers, birds, butterflies, and stars amid clear skies. Our site had pine trees providing enough privacy, while framing views of the surrounding meadow and forested slopes. Pesky mosquitoes were minimal and bears never bothered us. Camp hosts were helpful and kept camp facilities clean and in order. Enjoyed our stay, especially the last evening's walk and views along Sunset trail.

Friendly and helpful hosts let us know about dry firewood available by donation on-site. Beautiful setting, pin drop quiet despite being near capacity, perfectly clean grounds and well-kept, modern facilities. This is a gem of a campground in an outstanding location.

Beautiful location; stunning views and very quiet. The restroom is nice but extremely small. As a note: There is significant construction occurring in the park and that may negatively affect folks. While we were there Point Supreme was completely inaccessible.

Beautiful dark skies and so peaceful. My favorite

Beautiful campground with incredible meadow views. Close to the canyon for a quick evening walk. We got to hear Elk that had just returned to the area. Campground host was great... he was very informative!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
