Picked up family of mice. Thankfully traps deployed in our RV did their job. ALL food not in a refrigerator needs to be sealed in hard containers.Sites with tables at the back of the parking pad unnecessarily limit RV length in many sites. This is a tight campground so it is difficult to avoid campfire smoke from adjacent campers.Love the proximity of this CG to the lake.Host was very helpful.

This is a great campground for tent campers or smaller RVs. I have a 12 foot pop up that extends to 22. No problem getting in and out of the site. Water access throughout the campground with clean pit toilets available. The scenery is beautiful with Navajo Lake right across the road. In the middle of June its a busy place. We were there on a Friday. Enjoys very close proximity to Cedar Breaks National Monument, which also has a small campground. Cedar Breaks is a smaller version of Bryce Canyon, which itself is little more than an hour away. At close to 10000feet in elevation the temperature dips to about the mid 40s at night. Not bad for a Utah summer.

We just stayed here for five days and were surprised to find the campground was in a dead zone. It was glorious. Without digital distractions my wife and I were able to reconnect instead of hiding behind our phones. We were also able to get to know our fellow campers The campground host, Dick, was wonderful. He kept us informed of weather and campfire status throughout trip. He was very attentive and kept the place running well. This despite his management tasking him to tasks at other campgrounds all over the valley. He is a major reason for the five-star review.

Navajo Lake is a beautiful place. It's at 9000ft so plan accordingly.

Great camp site. I stayed in the upper section. Very clean. Bathrooms very clean. Camp host are good and making sure camp ground is cleanNo cell service. Its above 9k elevation so its much cooler and can get cold at night. Beautiful lake. I keep this camp ground on my list

Our 1st time camping here. We had a wonderful 7 days at Navajo Lake (lower campground). All of the sites had a great view and easy access to the lake and they were in excellent condition. The restrooms were the cleanest we've seen in a while and well stocked. Navajo Lake is full from the ample snowfall this last winter. We came mostly to kayak and we weren't disappointed by the experience. We had some rain for a few days but had plenty of opportunity to kayak most of the lake and enjoy all of the quiet and the calm that the lake has to offer. Day trips to Cascade Falls (close by) and Bryce Canyon (not so close) were wonderful, too. The dump station 2 miles west at the Te-Ah campground has 2 dump ports with only 1 working. The camp host said the other was blocked. Made for an awkward dump (the hose had to go over a curb). "No biggie". Must be flexible while camping :).We'll be going back to Navajo Lake. At 9000 feet with the cooler temps and quiet slowness, it is a great place to beat the summer heat.

Our family has been longtime patrons of Navajo Lake Campground, having visited for many years. However, our recent visits, including the most recent one, have left us disappointed due to a decline in the quality of service and facilities.This year, we encountered the worst hosts we have ever encountered at a campground. It was evident that they lacked the attentiveness and professionalism that we had come to appreciate in the past. Furthermore, the bathrooms were not properly cleaned during our stay, which was a significant concern for us. It was disheartening to see such neglect in maintaining a basic necessity for campers.Upon our arrival, we approached one of the hosts to inquire about the possibility of changing our assigned site, as Site 27 seemed inadequate for our trailer. However, we were met with an unhelpful response. Without allowing us to fully explain our situation, the host quickly directed us to Site 12, stating that they did not want anyone camping next to them. This interaction left us feeling disregarded and unwelcome.It is worth mentioning that during our previous visit, we were informed that the hosts were absent due to a personal problem. While we understood the circumstances, it was frustrating to not have hosts available to address any concerns or provide assistance when needed. However, we refrained from leaving a review at that time, hoping for a better experience in the future.Despite our disappointment, we acknowledge that Navajo Lake Campground offers natural beauty and recreational activities that continue to attract visitors. However, improvements must be made in terms of host selection and training, as well as the maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities.In conclusion, our recent visits to Navajo Lake Campground were marred by inadequate hosts, uncleaned bathrooms, and an unwelcoming attitude.Thanks.

Stayed 7/21-7/22. The location of the campground was nice near the lake with close access to launch boats and swimming, as well as the lodge if you need to go to the store. The campgrounds themselves were very busy with what seemed like constant noise and youre fairly close to your neighbors. Not sure that anything can be done but there were a ton of flies, including in the bathrooms (like 100s dead and alive). I do wish the rvs and tent sites were a bit more separated. One of the best sites had a large motorhome right on the edge of the lake so that was our main view looking out.

Nice but marred by loud music and all day generators from different directions. Loop trail is great!

Always have a great time at Navajo lake. The campgrounds are clean and the hosts don’t bother anyone.

The site is a little older and is grown in in certain areas. On the west side, a lot of the trees have been cut down leaving little shade. Nice camp hosts though. Very little space for a large RV but it will fit.

The 30’ space they rented us was an incline and almost too small for our rig. We opted to move over to Spruces Campground and were lucky enough to find a spot. They seriously need to look at what they call a 30’ spot

Highlights- Such an incredible area! The scenic drive in from Cedar City was beautiful, and we loved that the location served as a hub for other surrounding area highlights (Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, etc.) Quick access to the lake, Navajo Lake Loop trail and the Virgin River Rim Trail, Duck Creek Village (grab a fresh donut and hot coffee at Higher Grounds Java and stroll around Aspen Mirror Lake), Cascade Falls, etc. Our site had some tree coverage, but other sites were very exposed. Lowlights- several of the neighbors had TERRIBLE camping etiquette! Loud well after 10pm (shouting, yelling, LOUD music, etc.) One group arrived at 12:30 am and set up their entire camp, slamming doors, dragging heavy items, talking loudly back and forth well after 1am. In addition, pets often incessantly barked (while campers were inside their RVs and pets were left outside) and were even left unattended at sites for periods of time. There was no camp host at this site. Oh and probably depends on the season- but the yellow jackets were SO annoying, trying to cook/eat required constant swatting away of the pesky buggers!

Interesting trip. The park host quit after a screaming match with the managing company. They literally packed up and left. The park itself is beautiful. Great location to tour the area. If you have a motorhome make sure you get reservations on the lower loop. We have a 31 foot and were able to get onto our site (upper loop), but could see gouges in the pavement from others who dragged their bumper.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
