Pine rest site was awesome. Great being next to the river. A bit chilly early AM first week of October.

I stayed one night in site 6. There's a short walk (50 feet?) into the site from the car parking spot. You can pitch a tent pretty close to the river and enjoy the sound of the water all night. There's no host in this campground, but the host from another nearby campground appears to check the outhouse, etc. It's tent only and my campground neighbors were very quiet. But one should note that there are several cabins/homes on the opposite side of the river which may produce some light and noise into the late evening as they sit out on decks talking facing the river or getting in and out of cars. None of that went super late and all was quiet by about 10 p.m. All the sites are on the river. 1 and 7 are pretty close to the road, but the road was not that busy.

Lovely location. We were right near the bathrooms and it seems they were only cleaned once while we were there, which was pretty smelly. Otherwise this area is one of our favorite spots

It was great to camp in a tent only campground. It's a beautiful location along the Metolius River and there are great hiking trails.

beautiful riverside location. Tents only with some walk in sites a great idea.

Nice quiet campsite on the river. Just be sure to pack away your food. Raccoons will come through at night.

We were the only ones there it was so fun! It did get cold like 35degrees kinda unexpected for august. Right on the water with a killer community fireplace.

Hands down the best campground we've stayed at in Oregon. Quiet, large spaces that back right up to the water. The children had a wonderful time dunking in the river, riding bikes up to the fish hatchery and to the General Store and I've never slept so well in a tent my entire life!

We wanted a quiet campground next to the river. This tent-only campground was perfect, with no generators or motorhomes. It is rustic, with no water, but We filled up on water the next campground down. We were in spot #5, which does not have shade in the afternoon, so plan accordingly. Right on the river trail to walk as far as you wish along the river. Clean bathroom, clean campground.

We loved that it was a small, quiet campground - no RV's. Toilets were always clean. Easy access to river trail. Staff that maintained the campground was very friendly.

Beautiful camping right next to the river. Good amount of separation from the campsites adjacent. We look forward to returning next summer.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
