Beautiful lakeside campground. Quiet on the weekend we visited. Clean bathrooms, spacious, good amenities. Only downside is the rustiness but hey, its central Oregon.

Nice long, private spot with a fair amount of sun depending on time of day but surrounded by trees. Was able to charge with solar most of the day. Water spicket and sink water dump right next to site as well as vault toilet. If you have a trailer over 20, youll probably have to enter the wrong way to get backed in. Verizon cell service was very poor but we could get some texts in and out occasionally. If we couldn't get a waterfront site, Id take this spot again.

Very nice campground. Lots of mosquitos though. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Awesome campground. Millie, the camp host, went above and beyond. She was amazing!

The scenery is beautiful, the lodge impressive. The people serving or attending are very pleasant. However, the place is run by Aramark, so the food is terrible and extremely over-priced. Seriously - Ive better airline food. We felt nickle-and-dimed - EVERYTHING has a 3.5% service fee. You can par $8.00 a day for WiFi, or get 30 minute a day free IF you listen to a Nissan add, for which I am sure Aramark get some compensation. One would think that for over $500/night, one could at least have free Wifi. Love the location, but would never go back

We were able to fit comfortably with a dually F350, camper, and 24' boat. It was a little tricky pulling in and a little tricky leveling the camper, but nothing insurmountable. This campsite is truly beautiful with lake views. The "trail" down to the beach from the campsite is not for the mobility impaired, but it's not far to walk down the little road to the beach if it's a problem. We have Verizon and I had a little reception for text messages on my Pixel; my husband had none on his iphone. If you stand at the "big tree" by the steep bank, you might get some internet briefly. Bathrooms were very clean. We were surprised when we got there (Memorial Day weekend) that the camp host had not picked up all the gross baby wipes laying around, so we did. That was a disappointment, but otherwise it was a nice stay.

Very clean campground. The camp host did an excellent job of maintaining the camp even late into the season when there were very few campers.

Our site was great for our trailer , tents, and 2 cars. Some of the driveways are steep on that side but ours was long and mostly level near the top. Super private with no neighbors. Our host Archie was great. Our site was super clean as were the bathrooms. Crescent seemed to have a ton of tent campers and he made sure people were quiet at 10pm for those of us in tents-it was glorious not hearing people partying at 2am or generators late into the night. Well be back in the future.

Continued from previous review from another site. After speaking with the other campers around us and getting the same response about the hosts aggressiveness, it made me feel less targeted. One lady said her kids were at the table playing go fish when he yelled at them. In talking to my neighbors it sounds as though the camp host had been on the job for 2 months, said he hadn't gotten any sleep and that he had family in town and was supposed to be off duty that weekend and didn't want to get woken up or didn't want to have to call Shawna. One camper mentioned maybe if he would lay off the drugs he could sleep. We went about our day as normal on Saturday and ended up walking through the loop. We went by the camp host and as we did the host asked us how our stay was. My friend actually stopped to talk to him about his approach in our camp the prior night, he went up to him to talk to him in hushed tones trying not to let the neighbors hear and as soon as it was brought up the host was yelling and aggressive again. Of course this lead my friend to get defensive. I tried to talk to a lady that was also there, she was in an actual shirt that was for the host/campground. I am assuming this is Shawna. She looked as though she couldn't interrupt in what the man was doing and actually ignored me and walked away. The host (male) went on to threaten us, telling us to get the f out of the campground and pack our things. He threatened to call the ranger, which I had hoped he would have. We thought about calling them ourselves but didn't. We walked away from the situation hoping the ranger would show up. My kids had drove by the host hours later and told us he was drinking with his neighbors. This made me even more worried about retaliation on his part. We went to bed at ten that night and didn't see a ranger or the host. I did hear partying until I fell asleep around midnight. Great campground but the trip ended on a bad note due to what appeared to be a drunken/drugged host.

Nice and clean camp spots with view of lake. The lodge was a great place relax after a day of kayaking Good pizza and ice cold beer! Take time to visit other lakes around area including Odell and Waldo.

Our combined family rented sites 19 and 20. We had a great time, and the bathrooms were extremely clean. We hope to be back again next year. Make sure you have a flashlight or head lamp for the restroom at night, as it is very dark inside.
@AmyB6929249 · Camped on Jul 16, 2023 at Campsite #29
The sites are huge with lots of privacy. Site 29 had a picture window view of the lake and was close to water spigot and restroom. Archie, the camp host, was helpful and friendly. The restrooms were amazingly spotless and actually smelled clean! The lake water was surprisingly warm for swimming. Great hikes nearby!

Campground has a lot of bathrooms (which were incredibly clean) and fresh water spouts. Nice spacing between sites and great access to the lake

The campground experience was perfect. The resurant at the lodge had horrible food. We also rented a boat and was not happy about the experience. We rented the boat at 12:45. The clerk backdated out time to 12:30, then took until 1pm to get us our gas and get us on the lake.
@MARYP8430707 · Camped on Jun 12, 2023 at Campsite #27
Sites were clean, area quiet, lake beautiful. Unfortunately resort restaurant was closed says we were there. There are trees down from an infestation and they are being cleared. Sad to lose do many though. We plan on returning next year. Reservation site works great.

Site 30 showed on the map to be a pull through, it’s not. Couldn’t get my boat and camper into it. Don’t suppose I could get a full refund?

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
