Large sites on a beautiful lake! Spots feel very private with thick tree coverage. Bathrooms were clean and odor-free despite being pit toilets. I noticed quite a few spots had steep parking areas not suitable to RVs or car camping. So just check the pictures for the sites you book.

The campsite was super. Someone had squatted in campsite leaving me to wait an hour while they packed up all their gear and having to put tent up in the dark. Camp host did nothing to alleviate.Cars revving engines late at night and a camper too big for the site next door leaving 30 mins of noise and lights very late at night making this camp ground too noisy and not well managed.

Very quiet and beautiful sites, some right in the lake.

The area around Hyalite Reservoir is beautiful. Unfortunately, there was an algae bloom when we were there. We paddleboarded, but did not swim. The vault toilets were kept very clean. It can be a long walk to drinking water or the dumpster depending on which campsite youre in. The wildflowers were enjoyable and we hope to return another year to swim.

Checks all the boxes for a perfect summer day at Hyalite - a short flight of steps from the car to fully shaded campsite, right on the water for easy launching of canoe and SUP, bear proof storage locker right on the site, clean bathroom right next door. Well spaced trees for a hammock or two!

Beautiful area to camp. Our site had a wonderful view of the lake. It was quiet and the campground is well maintained. The camp host did an excellent job of keeping the bathrooms clean! Look forward to our next trip.

Camper parking close to the road, then slopes down to a flat area for tents and the picnic table, then slopes down further to the water

Although we wont pick this spot again, we had a nice time. View from the picnic table was gorgeous. It was VERY hard to park our camper- but we did it. Thankfully people were patient with us since no one could get around us. Water pump was right below us- that was nice. Loved taking walks in the afternoon. Love this campground.

It is a beautiful place! Butwe were in #3 site. Terrible parking spot. If my husband wasnt a professional driver, we would not have been able to be there. Parking pad went up hill, a lot!

Got a spot right on the water to enjoy after work. Had some high school kids drinking in the site next to me and I ended up deciding to go home and sleep in my own bed for the night around midnight. They werent outrageous but I was tired and close enough to them that it was annoying. I decided to go back up the next day to put my kayak in the water. Upon going back, the next site was empty but their fire was still smoking with some active flames. I decided to go talk to the camp host, mostly to ask if I could stay a little late past checkout and I just said hey, are you the host? I didnt stay last night because of a party, can I go put my kayak in and leave at 1 instead of noon? To which she replied Im not going to babysit for you, bro! So I didnt even mention anything else because she obviously didnt care. So beautiful spot, but the attitude of the host was pretty disappointing. Never leave a fire unattended. A human caused wildfire in such a beautiful area would be tragic.

The campground its self was wonderful! However make sure you check what site you have. We pulled up to our site and it was absolutely flooded. The camp host was passed out in her trailer at 3pm during check in time. Was not impressed by her. Long story short check your campsite make sure its not flooded. And dont even try to talk to the camp host. She doesnt even know what day it is!

Absolutely amazing place to camp with a view. Loved the hike up to the waterfall nearby and those camping around us were friendly.

Campground host was not around until we went looking for them. Had to catch them when they were cleaning the bathrooms. They should be more available for problems.

Great place to camp but hosts do nothing and are no help when needed.

Our days spent at her creek. Campground were excellent! The campsite was very clean and right on the water! We kayaked, hiked, and fished. A huge storm rolled in that night, and the lightning and thunder were spectacular! I would highly recommend visiting hood creek if you can get a reservation!

This is a great campground next to the lake. The campsites for the most part are spread well apart. It’s nice you’re not on top of each other!

The bathroom was extra clean and camp host performed daily rounds and the campsite was ready when I arrived. I will go again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
