Parkside Campground, Red Lodge, MT

Parkside Campground is located in the Beartooth Ranger District of the Custer Gallatin National Forest (1 hr 25 min southwest of Billings, MT) with an elevation of 7,196 feet. There are a total of 28 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 26 and 55 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Fees range from $20.00 to $80.00.

Its a beautiful campground. The sites are spacious and surrounded by trees. Rock Creek runs through the campground and we caught (and released) several fish!

I can't say enough good about the camp host, there was a mix up with my reservation change and she was able to swap sites with another that I could fit my 36' 5ver on. We did only stay one night out of the 3 as we discovered we where too dependant on having electric hook up.

Beautiful campsite right on rock Creek. Campground clean and quiet and we even had a bear wander through our campsite to make things interesting. Camp hosts were friendly and very professional. All around great experience.

The camp hosts (Bob and Cathy) were great. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. They kept us informed about wildlife in the area. They were very present during the day going through the campground visiting with campers and getting people checked in. Great job!

The area is fantastic, but your facilities leave a bit to be desired. The tables are half rotted. One table at one location is so close to the ground it is unusable. One fire ring is completely rusted through. One site does not even have a bear box (very unsafe!) You charge a hefty fee for use and do not put any resources back into the infrastructure.

Beautiful campsites. We were right next to the most beautiful creek. Clean sites and restrooms. Campsite manager, Janey, was awesome. Gave excellent safety instructions and some pretty fascinating stories. We love camping there

We scored this amazing tent site only 4 days prior and couldnt be more thrilled! Being just feet away from the creek and at the base of beautiful mountains has us already making plans to return. Our only regret is that we could only stay 1 night.

If you can get a creek side location in upper Parkside they are the best! Other locations are okay.

This is a wonderful location. Quiet, scenic and relaxing all in one spot. We stayed in site 16 which was a great spot. However, we were in a full profile 5th wheel at 40ft in length and ended up having to back out of the campground after our stay as the loop presented a few trees staggered along the loop that would have damaged our RV had we tried to drive around it. Other than that the place is wonderful!

We loved camping at Parkside Campground! The host was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in Site #12 overlooking a small meadow and the Beartooths, and it was beautiful. You could hear the river from the site. We've stayed at the campground before, and Site #s 8, 9, 10, and 12 are the best. We will definitely be back!

Camp host s. Told about bear problems and checed n wth everyone. Very Friendlly and outgoing. Areas are kept very clean and well stocked.

The location was beautiful, however...the noise from generators was incredible. No enforcement on the times they ran, or limits on the number of vehicles parked at each site. It was crazy busy with people driving in and out and partying. Absolutely did not see a host the entire week we were there. Good access to hiking.
