Camp host was friendly yet firm when reviewing bear safety and fire precautions (much appreciated attention!). Pit toilets were the cleanest Ive ever experienced!

Nice setting. Do wish the table and firepits sat on the other side as we had to walk around the camper to get to them instead of out the door. Also a very large rock right where out slide came out - but we did miss it by an inch or 2. Quiet, nice host- we hope to go back as we had to leave for a medical emergency.

Nice campground with the sound of the river flowing behind the site. Good choice for Beartooth Highway with hiking nearby.

It was COLD! Coldest it's ever been since we've been camping there for thirty years. However , "that's the mountains!" and we still love it all, Our camp host Ben was great. Really enjoyed meeting him. Hope he and his wife return!---- Steve and Geeg Aaker (Site 5)

The spaces are so nicely separated from each other, the stream running through, the mountains immediately to the west, and the camp host - all of it made for a great stay at Limber Pine. We really didn't know what to expect and were very happy. We'll be back!

Excellent campground. Campsites and toilettes clean and maintained well. Having the bear food storage lockers is very nice. The campground host was very nice and helpful answering questions and checking on everyone and marked the campsite with a reserved sign for my three nights ahead of my arrival. Campground location is perfect for hiking along the Rock Creek and surrounding mountains. Will definitely be coming back again.

This was our 9th year in a row staying here. Always clean, well managed. Close enough to Red Lodge to be convenient, also far enough away.

Camp host Mike and his wife were very accommodating when we arrived a day early. Having a 45 footer, we needed our scheduled site in order to fit. Mike moved a single car camper to another site so we could stay. Beautiful area. Pump your water by hand. Off-roading trails right there.

Thanks to all our Supporting Members

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
