Lake Gillette Campground, Colville, WA

Lake Gillette Campground in Stevens county is located 1 hr 50 min north of Spokane, WA with an elevation of 3,167 feet. There are a total of 14 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 50 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Fees range from $29.00 to $58.00. Some amenities include boat ramp, restroom. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

We do an annual camp trip every year with a theme costume content. Our camp host Rod was fantastic and so was his care for the campground from the cleanest bathrooms and campsites we have seen, to stopping by to say HI and make sure everything was good. He was friendly, helpful and very nice. This truly enhanced our outdoor adventure there. Will see you next year! Ken and Carol Grittner

The campsite was amazingly clean. The campground host clearly cares about his job. Very friendly. Spots were all good sized and had fire pits. Definitely would stay again. Bathrooms were spotless

Mind boggling that youre charging $52 dollars a night to camp. The camp host was completely arrogant. People camp there to enjoy family and ride there off road vehicles. Instead, we paid the overpriced fee just to be barked at and treated 2nd class. This place was great in the 80s and 90s as kids with dirt bikes but that time is long gone. You can keep your fees and your welfare camp host. We wont be back.

Lake Gillet campground was very clean and spacious, the entire chain of lakes was a fantastic visit this year! Can't wait to go back next season.

Nice campground, big sites, clean. There are no signs for it on the road so its easy to miss. Took 3 tries before I found it.

As always it was great ...Lake Gillette is our favorite place to have all of our family's( and there is quite a bunch of us) meet for a summer fun weekend the double site holds all of us comfortably we just love it there and i plan part of my vacation trip there... Thank You Debbie

Site 3 was large and level. The Campground was without a host but the host from Gillette visited occasionally. The rules on OTR vehicles in the Campground were not always enforced, so it got noisy at times.

This a small camp site that exceeded my expectations, big sites more than enough for my family and trailer, clean vault restrooms. easy access to water, boat launch and small beach, so quiet and private, unfortunately there is a noisy and busy lodge across the lake, that was annoying bot nothing to do with Gillette lake campground, definitely we will come back.

We arrived to find our reserved camp site given to someone else. We arrived around 3 pm the day of our reservation and someone else’s name was one the card one the post and the lady their said it was her site.

We come here every year for a few days. Great campground and the two young gentlemen who are the hosts this year were friendly and helpful while also keeping the facilities clean.

Just camped here for 4 nights over the Labor Day weekend 2021. Very nice campground with a short walk to the lake. Quiet within the campground HOWEVER, there are several ORV areas just past the campground and the noise of the off road vehicles going past the campground is LOUD and pretty continuous from about 8 am until dark especially weekend. Many of the riders are not of legal age to be on any paved road. There is a lovely hike called Springboard which is a circle route of 2.5-3 miles and moderate level. The chain of lakes is pretty and fun with kayaks and paddleboards although there can be alot of speed boats on the next lake.

we always have a good time at Lake Gillette been going there for the past 7 years usually try and get the same spot..the camp hosts are always so much fun to visit with and they are always on top of things if there is any kind of a issue that arises except for it being a little smokey this year we still had a great time so will be booking again next year..thank you Debbie
