Campground hosts were fantastic!! Only downside was our site had a yellow jacket nest but thats no fault to them. Bathrooms were clean and the park has a great swimming area.

The camp hosts are so kind and take great care of the Camp. We had RV troubles and could not check out of our campground on time. New people were coming in that day. The camp hosts were so kind and helpful. They told us they would take care of the new people when they arrived. Thankfully, we were able to get out before they arrived.Hard to find kind and friendly people these days!!!

Quiet, clean, relaxing campground. Favorite sites for us are #5 and #8. Beautiful evenings and sunsets every time we have stayed here.

This is a lovely campsite along the Pend Oreille river. The bathrooms were clean, and the campground was clean. It wouldve been nice to have the walking trails to the river cleaned up a bit better so that you didnt have the weeds poking you as youre walking up and down. Site number two and site number three are in direct sunlight along the river, and during our camping trip, it was extremely hot and unpleasant to be at the picnic table or around the fire pit area so we ended up sitting in our camper most of the day. The water felt wonderful, I would highly suggest, though that anyone swimming or walking in the water wear shoes because I found two different types of fishing hooks where my granddaughter and I were swimming. If youre going to camp in spot number two or three, I highly suggest that you take some kind of a canopy for shade. Otherwise sites 4, 5, 6 and 7 have more shade.

This campground is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. The camp hosts, Mike and Mary, make your stay special. The campgrounds and facilities are clean and well maintained and they offer privacy that doesn't exist in many of the newer campgrounds. Everything about Panhandle makes your camping experience one of the best.

Sites aren't great. They are not private. We were in #12 and our picnic table was ilterally right beside the neighbours. Thankfully there was no one in that site. There are a TON of mosquitos and you hear traffic both from the road the site is on as well as the highway across the water. The water looked like it had a coating of some sort on it, I wouldn't have swam in it. Both RV's beside and across from us had their generators running at 6 am. The bathrooms were clean. We will not return. There are plenty of other options in the area.

Pros: very clean bathrooms, amazing camp hosts. Best I've ever encountered. We had some trouble with another campsite and they handled it extremely well. Cons: swimming area was very small, mosquitos were horrible, nothing else too do inside the campground. Very small campground, not much privacy.

Very clean campground, great hosts. Beach area is pretty grassy but was still an area where the littles in our group could play.

Beautiful small, family campground. It was well taken care of and quiet.

Overall the campground was great! Bathrooms were clean, great access to water and quiet (as we were the only ones there). The reason for the low rating were the camp hosts. They were not friendly, accused my daughter of vandalizing one of the bathroom doors, and though they never advised us, said we were there too late on the day we were to leave (again, we were the only ones in the entire campground). Very disappointed as we had such a better experience there three years prior.

We really enjoy this small campground, the negative things other people have written we see as positives! The camp hosts may be a bit strict and seem a little intrusive, but they take such great care of the campground and we enjoy chatting with them! So we appreciated them and didn’t find them intrusive at all!

Beautiful and clean campground, swimming area and boat launch. Be careful of bee' s when cooking outside. Good fishing

Panhandle is a fine campground. But I will not glorify it, I would choose to not see increased use. Wallys from the city are the main reason we have fires in our woods. But for the management, Mike and Mary are exemplary hosts. They come out and meet every new entry, the heads are pristine, Mike is out and about at dawn, never encountered better site management.

The campground is beautiful, tucked between the highway and river. We enjoyed the privacy created by the lush vegetation around our campsite. The restroom was always clean. We appreciated that the host stopped by to give us materials on bear safety, and he wore a mask and maintained social distance.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
