Great location. Views are amazing, trails are local and right out from the campground. Clean and the hosts are superb. I am thankful we found this gem because now we have a place to get out of the Phoenix heat.

Hosts are amazing, friendly and very much on top of keeping this place pristine. Loved our stay here, not really sure there is a bad spot. The area surrounding the campground is also great for exploring. Stay here if you can

We stayed at Pine Grove from 9-15 to 9-22. What a wonderful experience! The physical facilities are in top-notch condition and everything works great, plus we had an excellent site. The best part of the whole experience, however, were our Campground Hosts. Steve and Sandy and Kathy and Chris are super people. They are hard-working and keep the facilities in good shape plus they are never too busy to help you or answer a question. We will return to this campground again next year.

The campground is beautiful, surrounded by tall ponderosa pines and the sites are well spaced and kept immaculately neat and clean. The camp hosts were very friendly and accommodated every reasonable request. As a plus, the bathrooms were among the cleanest I have ever seen. I would highly recommend the site for anyone interested in dry camping in a premium location.

This was our 3rd time camping here. Most of the sites are well spaced apart. Love walking around the campground. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Hosts are friendly and helpful and make frequent rounds which I like.

Clean and quiet campground in a gorgeous setting. Bathrooms spotless, camp hosts were friendly and attentive. Made rounds frequently and even went to each campsite to let us know a bear was in the area. Excellent all around.

Very nice space. We had shade & a nice view. The campground was extremely clean and well cared for. They even supplied hand soap & sanitizer. There is a drinking water fill station & an RV dump station at the entrance that is included with your campsite or $12 if you're not staying at the campground. Again, that area was extremely clean! The campground hosts were super & very attentive. We'll definitely be returning.

wonderful Campground definitely come again. Space 20 got sun in afternoon site 19 was in sun all day, better shade at site 22 or 24 (pullthrough) or on opposite side of loop. Well off road so quiet. Lake is close and would be great kayaking. Has dump station, water at dump station and showers.

This was by far the best experience we had at a campsite. Super friendly staff. Restrooms were kept cleaned and stocked and plenty of space between neighbors. Can't wait for our next adventure at Pine Grove!

Great campground, especially if you have an RV or Trailer. The bathrooms were clean, the showers were hot, and the camp host was always present if you needed something.

The review asks for overall experience and I went with 2 stars. But there is a good reason - the biting gnats. my wife and I both were munched on anytime we were outside. We carry industrial strength OFF! and it did not help. Now, if we remove the gnats from the experience, this is a great place. Camp hosts are very nice and helpful. Our site (#24) was awesome and the quiet hours are respected by everyone. And we'd come back if only we just could get past those bugs.

This is one of our favorite places to camp, must be for others too as its always busy. Frustrating that people are so lazy about their trash. Wind blows it, ravens and crows steal it, and people just toss it. If they want to camp in trash, go to the dump! Education on keeping the forest trash free is needed, maybe??
@MauricioE66422 · Camped on Jun 6, 2024 at Campsite #17
Campsite was clean when I arrived and tent area is big enough to fit a ten person tent. Walking distance from clean restrooms with running water. Hosts are great and welcoming. Internet coverage is okay you wont be able to stream videos well but you can make/receive a phone call. Only down side I have is that during midday the middle of the campsite is open to the sun however there are large trees around where you can sit in the shade.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
