Hidden gem!Very well maintained facilities by the host. Off the highway (less noise) and get to see the Falls every time you drive back out.Will absolutely stay again!

The campground is fabulous! Mostly because Robert the host takes pride in his work. We were greeted by him shortly after arriving and he was able to answer my questions, such as where to access the river etc. Restrooms were spotless and did not have an unpleasant odor. Be sure to drive slow when you leave at about a mile you will see Fall Creek Falls which is stunning!!

Double occupancy spaces are actually large enough for two rigs! We were just a large truck and a small truck and popul camper, but there was room for two more trucks easily in just parking. Plus two nice tent pads. Loved the cement pad for the tables and fire pit. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The host came by every morning to clean them and drove around making sure no one had problems, but unless flagged down, left you alone to enjoy camping. We could barely see our neighbors in the next site over due to great tree and bush coverage. No need for our easy up because the trees gave great shade. Amazing Verizon cell coverage. Our spot was level and clean. The excess ash from fire ring had been removed. The host here is going above and beyond. I will be visiting again

Great location. Clean facilities. Road a bit bumpy but level campsites

Great camp ground. We like how much privacy there is from site to site. It would be great if there was power.

This campground is tucked away next to the Snake River, far enough from US26 to be peaceful and quiet. Our site #10 was shady, level, and spacious enough for our 30' TT. The unpaved access road was in decent condition. The hordes of mosquitoes cost one star.
@glenns8096036 · Camped on Jul 1, 2024 at Campsite #1
While close to the river, it is in a low lying area meaning the mosquito population was high.

Host was very friendly and always kept the vault toilets clean and stocked with toilet paper. We camped across from toilet and no smell. The entire campground was clean and inviting.

We love Falls Campground. We always see at least one moose, lots of different birds, etc. Toilets are always well maintained.

Good rustic campground deep in the forest. The grassy areas were over a foot high (desperately needed a mow), and very lumpy, not very conducive to a good night's sleep. I set my tent up on the gravel car parking area just to find a level, flat spot. Restrooms were good, no showers, though.

The camp host was absolutely the best!! Even with everything booked out, he let us know what was available to keep our adventure going. Please for give me , I cannot remember his name. He even waived us good bye as we passed heading home. Unfortunately we left a day early due to a coolant leak. Well be back!! Thank you again to the camp host!!! We appreciated everything.

Tradition- This is my families 3rd year camping here. We absolutely love this area of Idaho. Huge campgrounds, clean, and for the most part private. We look forward to camping here.

We come here every year and have never had any issues with the camp host until this year. During our stay on August 19th We had extra cars which we were more than happy to pay for but she came zooming in our site in her golf cart, When she got out of her cart and started walking up we greeted her saying good morning! She couldnt even say hello she stated in a very rude tone So are you guys just not paying for all these extra cars or what I didnt know we were supposed to go to her site I thought she came around to collect funds. We didnt have cash on hand as members of our party were out hiking and had the money, so I asked her to charge our card but she said it had to be cash only so I told her we would pay when they got back. Later, we had someone come pick up some kiddos in our party and she came zooming around again saying she was going to charge us more for another car. I told her they were just picking up some members in our party then were leaving. She said they better be gone by dark or you WILL pay. She was the worst camp host I had ever encountered at any camp site! I will never come back here again because of her. She needs to retire and be replaced with someone who can do that job with a little decency.

Spent two nights here and the campground was very nice. If it had electric I would rate as 5 stars. Pit toilet was very clean. Lots of space between sites. Would stay again.

Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a national recreation spot. Perfect spot right on the river. We loved it.

Campground is quiet with privacy between sites. Camp host is really great. Bathrooms are kept clean. Only ding would be potholes in entrance and throughout campground, but they keep the speeding down. Had moose in our campsite two nights while we were there.
@JacobB1049072 · Camped on Aug 10, 2023 at Campsite #19
It was a clean and functional campground, and I found a place to put my tent.Things it didn't have that would have given it more stars: Bathrooms with running water, recreation areas or playgrounds, view of river from all sites, better access to the river, cheaper firewood (or ability to gather free wood), better proximity to the waterfalls.

We love Falls campground! So peaceful, clean and pretty!!
@PaulR7699704 · Camped on Aug 6, 2023 at Campsite #19
This is a really nice campground. The sites are pretty private and there are many birds that frequent the area. We always look for an osprey nest by the campground which is very interesting. Swan Valley is pretty close if you need to purchase grocery items, etc.

Beautiful spot right on the Snake River, can launch Kayaks from campground and some pretty decent wading fly fishing close by as well, would def stay again!

Site 18, easy level for a 25' motorhome; not much shade. Nice quiet campground w/ helpful hosts. Didn't find a way to access the river... the bank here is high and the river fast moving. There is a trail (takes you to the group campsite) and along it there are some short spurs to the river. The falls are before the campground; we didn't see them on the way in, but they were visible on the way out.
@DarcyH8688162 · Camped on Jul 22, 2023 at Campsite #18
Site 018 is easy to back into due to its location on a curve, and offered mid-day shade, but no shade later in the afternoon. It is right across the street fron the restroom and water. It is relatively isolated from other sites, but, due to its location to water and restroom it is "on the beaten path". Great Verizon cell service in the Site. Our only negative remark is that this campground seems to be a bit rowdy with ATV noise and people noise (loud music, yelling, etc) - maybe it was just the 5 days that I happened to be there. It did quiet down at 10p.m. though. Easy access to walk along the river, fish, etc. Great birding - including an owl, osprey, catbird, hummingbird... We had a nice time in Falls Campground.

We arrived late and left early but really enjoyed our time at Falls campground. Very clean, the sites were private and plenty of space for our 25ft RV. Our site was just a 15 second walk to the river and the Falls down the road are beautiful. Highly recommend this campground.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
