Super fun site. Had to walk a ways to get to the alcove where we could swim. Water was clear and refreshing. Bathrooms were clean and shower was hot. Would love to visit again.

The rangers and staff were very friendly, although limited. No entry gate staff, all reservations were booked online. The camping spaces are large, clean, nicely equipped and spread out from adjacent campsites. The bathrooms were also well kept. For lake camping, it was relaxing and enjoyable.

The best thing was the view we had at our campsite was breathtaking only draw back was that the was only one good spot for our tent which we used for our kids tent and its always a draw back here is finding a good flat spot to put up ur tent its always a gamble but overall we really enjoyed our site this year compared to last year this is our second time camping here kids love swimming at the lake was really hot the first two nights but it cooled down on the weekend

The rangers here are friendly and accommodating. Our weekend stay was the first day of Summer and the heat was blazing HOT 101f. I'm so glad my husband and I came all prepared. We purchased a RINSE shower KIT from Costco and kept the setting at "mist" added cold water as we lay and people/nature watched all weekend. We came at the busiest time of the season, Kids are out from school and the campground was very busy. A lot to do, fishing in the lake and swimming as well, however due to the hottest weekend of our visit we stayed at campsite all weekend. Still enjoyed our stay.

Pretty campsite, good area, but We got evacuated cuz of the Aero fire and only stayed for 1 night but never got refunded, the park ranger told us we could.

Very near to the lake access and boating rentals. However, the site was very small and very less shade. Our picnic table was just next to the road, which didn't make us feel safe.

It was a hot sunny day. The campground is full because it was a holiday. We stayed at slot 18. It was a shady spot but sunny in the morning. We hiked at Angels Creek Trail which is about a mile or so from the campground. The trail is also partly shaded which I like since it was a really hot day, and we hiked at noon.

Site 104 - Big Oaks loop. Site was good, great views of the lake, large picnic area, and shaded by a large oak tree. The extra parking is just a few steps from it, making it excellent for visitors to come and enjoy an afternoon with you, but there are a few downsides. The driveway, although long, it was kind of narrow, so stepping down the coach, made it a trip hazard, ( I almost fell about 3 times ). Also, there is a tricky slope going down the picnic area, again making it kind of tricky to go down, especially with food. The wonderful shading tree, was full of tiny black spiders! That kept on falling on us, on the table, so we ended up eating on the chairs, and I got bitten 5 times on my left foot! making it swollen. Last, the trash enclosure area was right next to us, and when the wind stops, it gets pretty unpleasant. Other than that, we love this lake! I also love the fact that the park ranger kept on coming around checking (Thank you!!!) So overall we had a wonderful experience, and only because of those few downsides, I would have given all 5 stars.

We enjoyed our time at glory hole. We were first time users and we enjoyed it very much. The only thing is I wish we were closer to the swimming hole. The water was nice and we had a great time
@ArnissaA163559 · Camped on May 18, 2024 at Campsite #112
Our camping grounds were taken by someone else and the Ranger on duty said it belonged to the other people and that the online photos were wrong we had no shade even tho the location showed it had shade I wouldn never had chosen the spot 112 had it shown the camping grounds we got. It was a very uncomfortable experience full sun all day and we couldnt even use our canopy from our RV because the campsite they said was ours was 25 feet away just an overall horrible experience

The campground was well-maintained, and it was super easy to find our campsite. The bathroom was pretty nice. People were friendly and quiet. Overall, a relaxing and pleasant experience.

Our site 131 was very nice. The view was fantastic! Our only wish is that the sites are closer to the water. With the lake at full pool its still a long way from the water.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
