Beautiful campground with plenty of space for tents, hammocks and cars. A short steep hike down to the river gave us great views of rafts coming down the river, a bald eagle and osprey. Very clean, new outhouses, lots of water spigots and very close to alpine, Wyoming. Would definitely stay again. The gate at the entrance makes it very private as long as you keep it closed. Only complaint is the noise from passing traffic.

The bathrooms were cleaner than my house! Thank you!

There are three bear boxes at the first campsite, and a fourth bear box by the third campsite, but none near the fourth and fifth campsites. No cell coverage in camp but if you walk up near the gate you can get one bar of 3G coverage. Keep the gate closed because if it's open people love driving in. The campground host did a great job and was super nice. Unfortunately the folks before us in the third site left lots of trash (popsicle sticks, starburst wrappers, ...) in the grass and bushes nearby. Only a few level tent sites though. Like all Alpine Canyon campgrounds plenty of road noise, but after a couple of night you get used to it.

This was the first year we really did not have a camp post come and regularly check on us and clean the bathroom. I’m not sure that it needed it is just out of the ordinary from what we have had in years past. This campsite is always wonderful to allow family to freely roam when you close the gate because it then becomes a private drive and kids can ride their bikes and run up and down the lane without worrying about oncoming traffic. There is plenty of room at the end of the road to turn around dear Cheryl vehicle with giraffes and enough campaign and parking spot for as bigger group as you wish. @BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
