Great location close to Bogus and the trail systems, it is a basic campground with no running water or trash service so be prepared!

Spots were right next to each other. No privacy. All walk to spots. With that being said. Camps were clean and the view was amazing

Super close to Boise! Campsites are close to one another with smaller tent pads (we have large family so have to overlap onto the walkway in the camp site). Other than that, Beautiful area, amazing view and nice hiking trail nearby. No complaints, just know it's not a spacious camping area. Bathroom was nearby and clean

Beautiful site. Well maintained and clean. Camp pads are a bit too close together for comfort if it was full. Very difficult to find off of google maps. Definitely a place that could use detailed directions on the rental site

The only reason I am leaving a low review it because we were unable to even find the campsite. There was zero signage. The road that GPS lead us to was an 4x4 trail that was one lane and we had to turn around because our 4 runner could not make it any further. We really wish we could have found the campground. We also tried to use the directions given by the website.

So gorgeous! We had such a fun time. We are camping beginners, and this site was perfect! This site does have a bathroom, but however no running water anywhere. Cellphone signal is in and out throughout the day. We stayed at spot #9, which was one of the best in my opinion. However spot #10 was AMAZING, and it's a first come first serve! (FREE!!)

Sites are too close together. We stayed at 11 and there was no afternoon shade so it was very hot.

Our Search and Rescue training went very well at Shaffer Butte, we expect to be using this area again in the future. This is close enough to Boise, yet remote enough to provide realistic situations and terrain not found in the valley.

Camp sites are too small and too close to each other. The majority of the camp ground is thick brush.
@BeckyD284 · Camped on Jul 2, 2019 at Campsite #14
The restrooms were out of service due to run off. However, there were no signs at the entryway and nothing online. When we asked the host about it, he simply said I don’t know. So this led to numerous people literally shitting in the woods without the proper gear.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
