Very clean and well maintained. The trails could use better markers and more accurate distance.

It had been a few years since our last stay here, but it was wonderful. Everything was so nice, 2 very nice sturdy round pens have been added to the amenities. The showers and bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Campsite was very clean and host was very nice. The trails have all been updated now and are awesome! No more steep washed out slopes or huge slick rocks. All gravel and very well maintained. Cant wait to come back again!

Very quiet and well maintained. Our favorite camp on BSF.

Appreciate the reasonable site cost for seniors and veterans. Very pleased with the obvious trail work that the park has been doing. The smaller stone is perfect for horse feet. The campsite was pretty flat, shaded and well drained.

Love this place. Round corrals big enough for a couple of horses. Clean bathrooms and showers.outside was very clean and in great working order.

No quiet hours. Was kept up late by loud singing and music from other nearby campsites.

Great campground. A real hidden gem. Trails are amazing and more work being done with crushed gravel.

Loved our stay. We camped Sunday-Tuesday in Mid Oct so we caught the brilliant fall colors perfectly. The bathrooms were super clean, hot water was very hot, loved the showers, the bathroom and each campsite is wheelchair friendly (stalls, shower, and a nice ramp). Campsite was clean, good gravel, flat. Plenty of room for trailer and two cars. There are some corrals for horses that seem to be new, about 4 total? Very nice to use them. Water and electricity at every campsite, super friendly rangers. The trails are right there close, you have three to choose from and then more branch out into the mountains. I’d say your horse would do best wearing shoes or boots, terrain is rocky but fun. We were there during the week and we literally had the place to ourselves. I loved the area and the stars were bright thanks to no town close by. Horses had fun, we had fun. Will happily be back someday.

Nice campground, easy to get around even with a larger trailer. Round pens are nice as well. Good trails, nice scenery.

Campground was nice and clean. Almost all horse trails were completely covered in deep number 2 rock - horrible. 1 good trail that went to the old mining town was not covered in rock. We left a day early due to lack of trails.

Great campsite, facilities clean, nice corral for horses. Only shortcoming was no pads on camp stalls.

Most people there don't adhere to quiet time rules. I had to leave early to get peace and quiet. Don't recommend this park. Impossible to locate a ranger.

Great also doing landscaping to fill in around the campsite that had washed away. Clean restroom and great showers. The power meter at 21 said 50 amp but had a 30amp also.

Great place to camp not told but has 30 amp and 50 amp hook ups

Overall, the campground was nice, clean and quiet. We stayed at site #9. The only complaint we have is that we found some horse poop on our camp site after when we came back to it after being away for the day.

Great campground in the Big South Fork. The sites were spacious and the trees helped it feel somewhat secluded.

Horse pens need some work everything else was excellent.

Campground facility good clean. Trail out of camp toward road is dangerous..avoid until mud holes drained. Love the round pens available for a few horses.
@LindaS176 · Camped on Sep 4, 2021 at Campsite #7
Wonderful campsite. The only thing that would make it more enjoyable would be maps for the trails. Would like to see better marked trails or maps that would show the distance and the level of roughness. Some trails were for more advanced riders and we had children with us.

Beautiful campground. Great horseback riding and amazing views. The facilities are nice.
@CarmelaH115 · Camped on Aug 13, 2021 at Campsite #1
Wonderful campsites, spaced out with mature shade trees, nice level pads with tables and fire ring. The stanchions for the horses were excellent. The trails were especially nice and well groomed. We will definitely be back!

This place is very nice. Even though we do not have horses it was nice to see them around us. It was quiet and everyone was respectful. The restrooms were always stocked and the showers were pretty clean. The trails around this area are wonderful to walk. Spray yourself when walking all the trails because there are ticks. Only thing is make sure to bring bug spray. When the place emptied out we had a lot of flying knats around us. Not sure but I guess with the horses gone they only had us to bother. But if you are looking for a real forest area this is the place. Very remote and private. Lot sizes big and set up to give you some privacy. This is REAL camping at its finest!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
