Very nice park with light traffic. Trails are good, some require a short drive. Be aware you are in Bear country and poisons snakes are around.

We loved Bandy Creek! Very well maintenanced!The only issue we had was with our water hose kept popping off. Ours kids in the next site did as well. Not sure if it's pressure issue or what.And we loved the pool, just needed an umbrella for shade lol.Other than that, A+

The campsite at Bands Creek were lovely. We chose Bandy Creek because we ride bikes and they list many trails . There are many trails, but they are treacherous and impassable. Many trails had huge rocks on them and sections washed away. Walking on the trails was dangerous because of the rocks and tree stumps.

It is too expensive for tent camping. I have paid around the same for low end AIRBNB. Which had air conditioning and private shower and bath. Otherwise the place was phenomenal. Clean, inviting, well maintained, and just a good all around stay.

Love Bandy Creek! Bathrooms are clean! The workers are so friendly and helpful! I really like that the most campsites are shaded and large enough to feel comfortable. (not sitting on top of your neighbor) I really like the programs they have. We will finish our camping year over Labor Day weekend. Looking forward to being back at Bandy Creek for 5 nights.

Great campground. Very clean with really nice facilities. Shower and restroom "houses" were large, clean and showers had hot water. Also liked the outside sink area to wash dishes. Well maintained with nice visitor's center. Park officials were knowledgeable and very helpful in giving insight into places to visit in the park. Trail system was in great condition for hiking or mountain bike riding. Plenty of gravel roads in the area to get you to spots to hike or ride. The Cumberland River overlook trail offers nice views. A visit to the twin arches is a must!

Sites had enough space between that we had privacy. Clean restrooms and even showers with hot water. Rangers we interacted were kind and helpful. The swimming pool was nice too, but limited hours and we had to pay extra small fee to use the pool. We would camp here again.

From the campsites, bathhouses, and excellent service at the kiosk, I have highly recommended BSF camping! Well be back for sure! The information on bears was helpful and I truly feel everyone abides because we saw no signs while here. The food storage lockers and cooking fire pit were great too! Im very impressed by your maintenance staff. They do an excellent job keeping the amenities clean and garbage cans empty.

I didn't get the campsite I was wanting, the website said there was only 3 campsites available for my dates. When we arrived and stayed our three days, we noticed that there were only about a dozen other campers. Only four campers in C loop. When we left, the campground was still not filling up. But I've been to Bandy Creek a lot, and only have been disappointed one time. Bandy Creek has always been excellent campground. Did see a momma bear and two cubs on the gravel part of Bandy Creek Rd., first time seeing bears in over 25 years of visiting.

This is a great campground with excellent facilities, including bath houses with hot showers, a visitors center close by and a camp store for supplies. Most sites are at least partially wooded with good spacing between sites. We stayed in D25 and we loved it. We were tent-camping and the water/electric hookups were very useful. This is why we stayed on the RV-side and not on the tent-only loop A. We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this campground.

This is a lovely campground. The views are standard forest views and the campsites aren't huge - at least the part that's level enough for a tent, but the spacing is good for privacy and the bathrooms are among the best I've seen in a campground. They are large and airy and well-lit with natural light, with two showers for women and another two for men. The location was quiet and peaceful.One odd note: the campground is across the road from the visitors' center, and the two are in different time zones. My phone kept changing time zones so I found myself leaning on my old-style analog watch to keep track of the time.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
