Everything was wonderful! Just ran out of toilet paper and only 5 of the sites were being used. Luckily we brought some in case. Not many cleats on dock so bring extra ropes and bumpers. So fun!!

Gorgeous setting. Love the ability to boat to your campsite.

Great location. Campground is kept nice and clean. Thanks to the owners at Cedar Springs marina, the dock is adjusted for the current lake water level. The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 is that outhouse probably needs to be pumped. It is clean and stocked with TP, but it might be getting a little "full" :)

Our campsite was very clean as were the bathrooms. The area is beautiful! We were actually the only ones at the campground for a full day - which was awesome!!! We had some difficulty fitting our tent in our site - I wish there was more information about the size of tent area in each campsite - that would have been extremely helpful. We made it work though. The dock is great, easy to get into. There is a bit of a hike up hill to the campsites - but we were expecting that. We will stay there again.

Camp sites were clean. The camp host was friendly. Docks in good shape.

The campsite was great but the pit toilet needs some help. I know, it's a pit toilet...what do I expect? The waste in the toilet came above the level of the floor and with all the campers and visitors using it, we feared it would fill to an unusable level. Luckily the campground service workers came and helped it settle down a bit while we were there but each morning I feared I'd be looking for a new place to take care of business.

We love Jarvies, but no one has been maintaining the facilities for the last 2 years.

Bathroom was recently cleaned/dumped but wasn't too far from needing service again. Spots were nice however they're pretty close to one another...luckily we had the entire campground to ourselves. Great views at a cool part of the lake.

Those in our party that had to use the vault toilet were completely disgusted. The waste almost reached the top and the floor was covered in feces and toilet paper. We were there Thursday to Sunday, it was full when we got there.

Zero services, bathrooms had not been tended to for weeks, no toilet paper, no reservations signs placed on our sites. Camp sites were way overcrowded with multiple tents sharing a site, no quiet time enforced. We had loud outdoor movies being played every night within 20 feet of our campsite, STARTING at 10pm. What used to be an awesome spot has turned to crap, literally. I want a refund.

There was no bathroom maintenance, cleaning, or toilet paper refills. We would put toilet paper in the toilet, but then day users would tie-off at the camper's dock and use it all. We had to start carrying the toilet paper with us in and out of the bathroom every time. For our large family, this got very tedious. Day users often dock at the camper's dock to stop and use the toilet or just eat lunch. In one case, boaters docked at the camper's dock and slept in their boat, which I normally wouldn't care about except they docked in OUR designated spot. We pay for that dock, and we had to tie off at the very inside of the dock where it was extremely shallow. We told several groups that it was a private dock reserved for campers, but they were all rude and just brushed us off. Twice, we couldn't dock due to day users filling up the dock and just had to float in the middle of Jarvies until they left. They need to post signs on the dock that it is for the use of the campground only. Why are we paying money to camp there?!

The area is beautiful. The problem is the bathroom situation. The facility provided is way overused, and so full, that it is not even useable. The smell is awful. It seems it is used by many people that are not associated with the paid sites. Some control of the facility is much needed.

Had been looking forward to a quiet two nights at Jarvies and enjoying the dock during the day in between boating moments. When we arrived there were two very large boats that had taken over the dock, blaring music all day and until late at night. We avoided the area all day by staying out on the water, though this had not been our intent. It was hard to relax and go to sleep at night with the loud music. Not the peaceful experience we had expected based on previous visits to Jarvies. Seems like there should be another place for all the noise.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
