The location is excellent - but the sites have very inconsistent parking areas - not many are flat and they're not large enough for Sprinter Vans - you should reflatten more of the spaces.Mitch is a great guy and accomplished his tasks with a positive attitude.You should build a path down to the water off of Site 8 or 10 - nice, safe walking path that everyone can use - open up the lake to daily use down there.Thank you, Bob

We love Flaming Gorge. One reason we stay at Cedar Springs campground is because it's very convenient to rent a boat slip at the marina, and keep our boat in the water for a few days while we camp and do other activities in the area. The host, Mitch, was fantastic. He kept the restrooms super clean, and helped us with an issue we had with our campsite. Thank you Mitch! This year we spent several hours on three different days at the Sunny Cove beach area, swimming, paddle boarding, and snorkeling, with extended family. We loved it.

Nice camp ground, definitely more of a rv destination. Got to listen to generators all night long. I would have figured there was some form of quite hours at a spot like this.

this campground was spacious and private with a pretty heavy forest surrounding. Would love to go back.

Cedar Springs is a stunningly beautiful campground. Sites are set apart with good privacy. Vault bathrooms were very clean. Mitch, our camp host, was terrific. Friendly and helpful, he made our stay very special.

Wonderful campground. Our site has a view of the reservoir. Camp sites are well dispersed. Restrooms are clean.There was damage to the water system. We had to go to a nearby RV park to pay for the water for our RV.Campground was quiet.

Nice campground with really clean toilets. Loved sites 14 and 16! Fun to watch the northern lights!

Very scenic location. However, was disappointed in the fact that the forest service did not turn on the Central water for this place yet.

This is a beautiful campground. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. I wished that we had planned for more time here. But we arrived just at dusk. Site 10 can NOT accommodate a 30' RV with a slide (there is a big tree) and is not at all level. Fortunately we were able to move to #19, which although a challenge to get level, was workable for one night.

The park is very well laid out. Most sights spacious. Tree trimming is necessary in some sites as it is impossible to pull thru as designed.Hugh negative is the outhouses. If the chimney of on is level with your lot, and the breeze is in your direction, you will smell the tanks often.Lime should be put in the tanks to help neutralize the odors.

Our site was nice with a small view of the water. We could hear (nothing major) our neighbors a little but could not see them , which was nice. Overall the campground was quiet and peaceful. The showers at the other campground werent too bad but could get busy as not all of them were unlocked. Our only suggestion would be to have trash cans either in the vault toilets or right outside. Especially since you ask that trash not be dropped in them.

Such a great location! Close to the water, our boys could hike down the path (steep) and play and swim in the water. We ran the Green River and boated using the marina. People were all nice and very helpful. Our camp host was incredibly nice and kept bathrooms clean. Camping spaces were great with many tent options. We accommodated 40 people in 4 campgrounds and had ample room! It was a great weekend for our youth group and leaders!

We were impressed with the great job the campground hosts were doing! All campsites signs were up to date and camps tidy. The pit toilets were clean and they had mounted some effective air fresheners. Thank you!

Fourth of July weekend, bathrooms and campground were clean and well-maintained.

Great location and good staging for our main trip, but campsites were close together and the camp itself was loud until 1am with all the campers. It was also very expensive for what it was, but overpriced camping on public lands with impossible lottery odds is what wrecked.gov is all about.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Springs Campground! The grounds were private and shady. While the camp host wasn’t present during our visit, the bathrooms were very clean. We stayed at campsite 7. It was close to the bathroom and water spout. The lake view was also only about 20 steps away. With that being said, we could hear all of the music and fun happening at the marina. It didn’t bother us, but I’d you are looking for a quiet stay, the site might not be it. We loved it though! Would definitely stay again!

Drove almost 400 miles from Colorado to stay at this location. Paid full price for the campsite for 4 nights. Trash was overflowing and animals had gotten into it. Camp hosts were not concerned with cleaning it up, but a member of our group picked it up. Showers were not open. Dump station was not open. Fish cleaning stations were not open. Bathrooms were out of toilet paper. These were all considerations of us choosing Flaming Gorge and the Cedar Springs Campground. We probably won't return for a while.

Awful. There was no running water at all. No email, nothing on the notice board to make us aware of this. We only found on when attempting to fill our water bottles up before bed. Had to go the whole night without a drink and we’re unable to shower the next day. When we asked the camp host they didn’t seem to have an idea when there would be water. Requested a refund but was told this was down to the campsite manager! Might as well have dispersed camped nearby!

Unfortunately the water wasn't turned on yet but great campground, level areas to put your tent, good trees to separate you from other sites, we put up a zip line across the small cove over the water it was fun.

Very beautiful spot. The hosts were so nice and easy going. Our spot, number 9, was very private and spaced away from any other sites. Other campers there seems very chill and easy going. No crazy obnoxious partygoers. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be going back 🎉

Just so you know when you get there. The loop is very slanted by the path to the picnic table so to be level you have to park and the that faces into site 2’s picnic table and camp. The photo on the website is of site 3 btw too.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
