The spigot for potable water did not work. We needed to drive across the highway to the (empty) group site to fill our water cooler. Otherwise, everything was great.

Great private sites with big trees, plenty of shade and clean bathrooms. Would stay again!

Beautiful quiet spot.

Very spacious sites, but not a lot of privacy due to sparse trees. Clean bathrooms. Only downside was our site (001) was close to the road, so there was a bit of traffic noise. Despite the proximity to the road, still saw some deer and hares wandering through the campground! Nice open skies for stargazing.

Very nice area to camp. The parking spot has a bit of a slope, so levelers were valuable.

We took 35 people to Group Site 2 in July. It was very clean and the bathrooms were some of the best pit toilets I’ve ever used. This site was several acres large and the cliffs along one side were perfect for sunrises. The convenience store across the street was great and the dam was just a few minutes away to the north. The tables were very heavy and the water is not near the fire pit-cooking area, but we really enjoyed the beautiful site. Wish there were showers at Greendale!

We arrived in the rain to find that our reserved campsite was occupied by another camper. The site was NOT marked with our reservation. I reserved the site because it was a pull through and one of the longer sites in the campground to insure my truck and trailer would fit. The camp contact 'camp host' was at another campground down the road. After finding the host in the rain, the response was 'oh, sorry about that...Just find another site...'. I was pretty disappointed. I was able to use a back in site and had to park the truck away from the trailer. Getting soaked after a long travel day was not what I needed. Other than the camp host not doing a simple task of marking the reservation, it was an nice little campground when good spacing between the sites. Zero stars for the camp host - 5 stars for the campground = 3 star review.

Greendale itself was very nice, and super clean when we got there. The only thing I would have liked more was if there were more trees on my specific campsite that I used because we brought some hammocks. (I feel like our campsite was called campsite B, but I just went on another camp out with a campsite B so I could be mixing them up, sorry!) Other than that it was awesome! (Super cold at night, bring hand warmers for sleeping bags)

Greendale campground is really nice. Very quiet, big trees, spotless outhouses. Within walking distance to the Flaming Gorge Resort if you need supplies or want to eat breakfast / dinner, and just down the hill to the put-in on the A-Section of the Green River. My only criticism was that there was no water available for our stay. Many campgrounds in the area were out of water - not sure what the story was there, but we drove to a different campground to fill our water containers. Other than that, it was a great campground.

It was a great campsite, very peaceful. Campsites were far enough apart so you really had your own space. We would definitely camp there again!

Quaint campground close to the dam. Only negative is the commercial rv park had a few sensitive drivers going too fast on an adjacent road. Smallish and comfortable. Fire pits and nice picnic tables. Bathrooms nicely maintained. Shhh. Don't tell anybody!
@JohnB333 · Camped on Aug 24, 2020 at Campsite #8
Campsites are well maintained and restrooms cleaned regularly. Camp hosts are very friendly and accommodation. Lots to do in the area. My only complaint is the allowance of generators. They should be turned off far earlier than 10pm and started later than 7am.

Great small campground, lots of distance between campsites, very private. Nice fire pits and picnic tables, well maintained.
@ScottW895 · Camped on Jul 18, 2020 at Campsite #3
Super easy to find and drive into. Nice spacing and grass between sites. Showing a bit of wear and tear from lots of use. Many spots are near a private campground road. Stayed on a weekday and traffic was considerate on the road. Stayed on a weekend and fast ATV's created dust and noise. Boat owners went racing out very early in the morning - a bit too much. All considered I would stay there again and be happy.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
