Love the camping here. B3 is very nice and it is level. It's quiet and a nice area but the trash is always overflowing and the dump tanks were overflowing and we couldn't empty our tanks.

We always have a good time at this campground. They are putting in new baths at the A section where we always stay

Location is a little noisy from the local airport and barge traffic at the lock, but otherwise fine. Dump station overflowed as I was using.

Beautiful sites- cool to be by the lock and dam. When we were there, we had a fire ban. There is no alcohol allowed at this park.

Site was easy enough to back into. A couple of decent trails within the park and Lee Creek Reservoir Recreation Area was close by for additional trails worth enjoying.

private site, not crowded

Electric hook-up was out and the host spent an hour and a half fixing it for us right away. Excellent experience. Great host. Great birds in the trees.

Beautiful well kept campground. The host was very friendly and helpful. Nice level site with lots of space between sites. We would definitely stay here again

Got there after dark and just a little trouble navigating inside the park but the camp host was very gracious to help me/

The campground and site is very nice. We arrived at night and got into our site just fine. Later, we were surprised by being able to see the moon's reflection on the lake just behind us. That said we were disappointed the first night when none of the restrooms were working. The signs looked like they'd been up for a while, so I thought it might have been a seasonal closure. Late the next day they said they were having issues with the water pump. Fortunately the water at the site was working fine. We were in site B14 which was too shaded for Starlink, but we had good enough ATT cell coverage.

The dump station at Springhill is out of order. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the website that indicates this, so didn't find out until after showing up to the park.

We had 14 kids and 4 adults and we all enjoyed the camp ground very clean very nice and a lot of stuff to do. We will definitely be coming back.

Our stay was good, except when got to the Dump station-it was Out of Order. We had no warning, no one came by to inform us, and we ended up driving 45 minutes out of our way to find a Dump station we could use at another campground. We feel like the Camp Host shouldve notified all Campers and given us a list of available Dump Sites close to us. That made us decide NOT to stay there again. Not a good experience at ALL!!!

Nice quiet campground. Has bike trails that are even nice to walk on. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

The camping sites were amazing. The bathhouse could use some tlc, the baseboards were falling away from the wall, the shower heads either needed more plumbing thread tape or to verify replaced, and a longer timer on the shower water is needed.

Really enjoyed our stay at Springhill, location was very nice & clean. Due to Severe Weather coming in we had to leave a day or so early but other than that we really loved being there and we're already planning future stays there.

Always a great experience when we go. I love being able to have my childrens birthday parties there. We love it

Overall, Springhill was a decent experience with the family. The playground down by the A loop was large and had plenty of space for the kiddos to play. The only down fall was there were ant mounds everywhere, including in the mulch. There were big sticker bushes all around the space between the swings and playground as well. If you were able to avoid them, it was fine. We stayed at B05, the downfall about that is that the camp site is split, meaning that once the camper was pulled in, the outdoor space was on one side of the camper and the table and fire pit were on the other side of the camper. Since there was a Burn Ban going on, we didn't miss much with having to split which side of the camper we were on. All in all, plenty of things to do with our kiddos, like bike riding, large playground, and bike/hiking trails. It was overall a good experience.

Sites are nicely spread out, paved and level side to side. We stayed just as a quick overnight, and I'd highly recommend it. Not too far off I40.

We stay here when visiting family in FS. Have for years, but the last two times weve stayed in either B1 or B3 the power goes off several times a day. We are concerned about potential damage to our rig. We mentioned it to one of the hosts the first time it happened, but apparently they didnt pass the info on to the COE.
@PatrickM390922 · Camped on Oct 16, 2024 at Campsite #A12
Good location. Showers were a little hike away, and you could not directly drive to that loop.The water view was much better than expected.
@JamesS1371717 · Camped on Oct 15, 2024 at Campsite #B5
Need to communicate better there was a fire band and I would not of camped if I would've known that there was nothing on the site. They said there was one at the gate when you come in, but since I book everything on site or online, I never go by the front gate so I had no way of knowing there was a burn ban on so, that people would help out a lot

Clean campground. Our site was close to Arkansas River. Barges came by. Great biking trails.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
