I had a clean and quiet campsite. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was polite, welcoming and accommodating. I will be back. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

First and foremost the loving staff there are very warm and welcoming. They were very helpful and willing to help make our experience more enjoyable. Ms. Amber and Mr. Ross, cant thank them enough. True definition of southern hospitality. Amazing people. Our cabin was exactly what we wanted and expected. Youre in the forest, so dont be surprised of all the bugs and other wildlife that come with it. However its best to spray yourself with bug spray and not settle in the grassy area. My wife and I got bit up pretty badly by chiggers. We are still itching as we type this out lol. The trail around the campgrounds is very nice and the views are great (especially at sunset, watch from one of the bluffs). The previous occupants prior to us, and messed with the kitchen layout. It caused the refrigerator to go out but the staff was quick to fix it. Overall, you cannot beat the year round price for the cabins. We will most definitely be coming back in the future.

Great space for tent camping. Plenty of space away from other campers. Spring water faucet. Restroom. Store with supplies and support. Overlook with spectacular sunset view.

The cabin rented was cute, however, the time of year is key. Humidity was 90% during our stay so everything in the cabin was damp. The onsite staff was responsive. The refrigerator stopped working during our stay and it was very quickly resolved and working again.Beautiful scenery and the main trail around the camp area enjoyable. While taking a longer hike (7 miles) from the campground, we found trails to be narrow, overgrown with vegetation and lots of bugs (ticks). Bring bug spray if spending time outdoors.

I understand campground hosts can't watch everything all the time, but due to the campers next door to me it was just a horrible experience. The neighboring young adult campers were already drinking when I arrived and checked in at 1:00. They got nothing but louder and louder all day into the evening. I came to the mountain campground for a quiet weekend. The camp rules given to me state that there is a 24/7 Quiet Hours times. The more my neighbors drank, the louder they became, all 8 of them and it was non-stop. Of course they also had to crank up their music every so often for everyone to hear. There was a Groundskeeper for the camp that kept flying by all day (well over the posted campground speed limit) on his little scooter but he never paid any attention to the party of 8 next to me. Since I could see nothing was going to be done by management, and in their loud conversations I heard them say they were going to be there until Monday, I made up my mind to pack up and just head out 1st light Sunday morning. This place is advertised as a beautiful, quiet place to spend some time away. It wasn't. Waste of time and money.

Wonderful location in the middle of the forest, great CCC architecture, and excellent caretakers! Only hassle was the detour caused by the washed out road. Can't believe USFS hasn't repaired it yet.

The campsites were well maintained and clean. We enjoyed that we had space between our site and a neighbor's. The staff on hand were super helpful and kind. We highly recommend the Rim Trail. Beautiful area!

We stayed in the lodge for two nights in mid-April. It was heaven!! The lodge was clean and comfortable and the views from the patio were amazing. Hats off to the CCC crews who build the lodge, cabins, roads and trails and to the volunteers who updated the buildings.

Fantastic campground with wonderful trails and overlooks surrounding the property. Plan for a bit of wind with it being up high, but bring a camera and plan for time to soak in the views.
@JeffB8180041 · Camped on Apr 5, 2024 at Campsite #A
Amazing views! We rented one of the cabins which had everything we needed. I hiked the rim trail each morning and evening to watch sunrise and sunset. The hike down to the Cascades was tiring, but taking a dip in the pool under the falls made my day!

Such a lovely place to spend Easter weekend!

Excellent camp groups. Highly recommend. Given the road that takes you to the camp group dead-ends there, it is somewhat secluded and very quiet. Great views with cliffs and drop-offs surrounding the area.

Such a great, extraordinary setting with a rustic but comfortable cabin. Our host Amanda was amazing. Thank you!

The drive up to WRM is treacherous (you will drive cliffside on steep winding loose gravel for 45 mins) but the camping, views, hiking, and sunsets are worth it. Take a 4WD vehicle for your own safety.

Great Service from the management team. They were willing to answer any question I had and they made sure I had anything I needed for a relaxing few days.

The cabins are beautiful; well-appointed, but rustic. The views from the bluff are incredible, and the management is top-notch. We love this place and return as a family every year.

Christine and Amanda were absolutely wonderful. White Rock Mountain is my favorite place in the world. It is quiet and beautiful, and I hope it never changes! I usually tent camp here, but this was the first time in a cabin, and me and my boys thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you!

Had a great stay at the lodge. Loved the wood stove. Plenty of room for the eight of us during a mens retreat. Lookng forward to our next one.

My family loves visiting White Rock. The rim trail has gorgeous views and the campground is always very clean. The general store workers are always friendly and accommodating with anything we need. This is one of our favorite spots to camp in the entire state.

My family stayed in the Lodge for Thanksgiving/Hikesgiving Weekend 23. We sure enjoyed all the sunrises and sunsets, the peace and quiet, watching the geese flying in formation, my son-in-laws grilling and fish fry, the comfy beds, well maintained trails, and just overall had a wonderful time. The Lodge was clean and supplied enough dishes for a small army. Thank you White Rock!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
