Campground very clean.

The grounds overall were beautiful. The campsite was nice as well with a great paved driveway, a nice fire pit, and a tent pad. The bathrooms nearest the camps do not have running water and are relatively dirty. The bath house bathrooms were also below expectations. Overall though, the experience was pleasant.

The Lake front pull thru site is very close to the road, we where able to fit a 34' 5th wheel and other rigs where able to get by me, but its tight. Otherwise great view and campground.

We enjoyed our experience at the quiet and heavily wooded campground, the host family was wonderful and made our stay very enjoyable.

Checkin was effortless. The family running the concessions was fantastic. The campsite immaculate. The total eclipse awe inspiring.

Beautiful secluded spot with very nice primitive campsites. Definitely go for a walk around the lake and take a kayak or canoe to the far end of the lake to where the creek comes in!

we camped at Cove Lake for the 2024 eclipse; had great weather and great lakeside view of the eclipse; site 7 is very picturesque - just be aware there are several steps up and down from your car to the camping area; also the tent pad is medium size so check if you have a large tent whether it will fit; concession house is great with lots of food choices and recreational choices to enjoy the lake, plus toilets and showers and picnic areas. Cove Creek store is minutes away if you need provisions/gas (also has small cafe), and a little further up the road is Mt Majestic state park with resort and sit down restaurant. we loved the peace and quiet of a campground without hookups. There is plenty of water, just no electric.

We had a great experience and all the campsites were large and spread out. Its now one of our favorite campgrounds in the state.

Camp host Amy was very polite and helpful to us while we were there. It’s a nice park and a pretty area to stay to get away from it all. I hope we can come back soon.

It's an excellent view. The loop trail is lovely. The cold however is out there to get you!

Very nice campground with a excellent host. A storm was in the forecast so the camp host let us know ahead of time that he would be watching the weather. That evening there was a tornado warning and he came by and let us know about it and told us we could stay at the bath house during the storm.

As always it is a great place to camp. Host is helpful if you need anything. My only gripe is there is no place to dump sewer.

The campground was great as always. Hiking trails, kayaking and swimming are all available.

A family-friendly atmosphere with clean areas and facilities. I liked the access to activities such as kayaking, swimming, and hiking. While initially, the trailhead was somewhat challenging to find, the trail itself was well taken care of and easy to navigate. I highly recommend this location!

The caretakers take pride in keeping everything very clean.
@VivianS5627075 · Camped on Jun 14, 2022 at Campsite #10
The showers were wonderful- clean and well ventilated. Dogs are not allowed on the beach but are allowed on a leash on the nearby grassy area so we still all able to enjoy the lake together. Our campsite (#10) was spacious and the view was beautiful. Our neighbors (the wildlife) were very noisy at night- I recommend noise protection if you are a light sleeper because some of those critters just don't follow quiet hours!

Love it beautiful
@NathanT298 · Camped on Oct 30, 2021 at Campsite #10
Cozy little campsite. The site had direct lakeside access and the scenery was beautiful. There were showers advertised in the description but it appeared to be shut down while we were there. The outhouses at the campsite left a bit to be desired in terms of cleanliness, but that’s to be expected and won’t hold that against the park. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this campsite.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
