It's a nice park. I stayed away from the water in #43. It was more suitable for an RV than a tent, as the areas to pitch were few and not spectacular.The place where I set my tent, at the end of the drive-in near the stop, was actually very comfortable. There was no staking it out, and I was on a bed of lichen/moss. The facilities were clean, and there was a shower. The campsite had a nice table, a stove pedestal, and a lantern hook. Deer were around the area. It was a good night in the woods and my first foray into Arkansas for camping.

Awesome place, however remember NO cell service and some sites are not Starlink friendly.

Nice and quiet place this time of year. To bad the camp grounds are opening year round.

I enjoyed our stay tremendously! I do not care for the bath houses. I wish the bath houses were like the ones at Gilham Lake Cassatot Reefs. I also wish the area had been mowed before the weekend not on Monday. But I Love the trashcans everywhere and the campsite set up was Great!

We really enjoyed taking the grand kids camping here. It is a nice quite and beautiful park! No cell or tv coverage was not a problem, good to get away from it for a couple of days!

Very nice campground. Water, electric and trash at all sites (except the 3 tent only). Bathrooms are a bit small for the number of sites, but I never experienced a line to use them. Bathrooms were cleaned early every morning and trash was collected at that time, too.Site also had picnic table, grill, fire pit, lantern post and a fun prep table.Only issue was flies.Interesting trail east of #35- Cinnabar mine trail.The lake is beautiful. Since the campground is on a "finger" of Greeson on the SW side, it's almost like having a private little lake. The wooded hills make it feel very secluded.

Nice park. Good amenities, nice lake, good sites.Directions to site not good, you may miss the last turn. Note, road to park is all paved, if you get to a gravel or dirt road, you're going the wrong way. ALso, I believe GPS coordinates are off, placing you in the middle of the woods away from the campground, not a good result if pulling an RV.

Beautiful lakeside ACoE campground on Lake Greeson, just north of Murfreesboro, AR. Our campsite 26 had 30/50 Amp power and water, and we were level while unhitched with no problem in our 26 Airstream. Theres a 2-lane dump station that is easily accessible. There are two restroom buildings with 2 toilet stalls and one shower stall in each mens & womens bathrooms. Showers are small, and the immediate dressing area is tiny with no shelf and only one small hook, so keeping your stuff off the wet floor is tough, and dressing is awkward.There is virtually no cell signal, but StarLink works if you can get a clear enough view of the sky through the trees. Only Dollar stores available in nearby Murfreesboro as their grocery store burned down and has not been rebuilt as of 4/24, so get groceries in Nashville - 40-45 minutes south. Public boat launch and beach area centrally located. Theres an easy 3/4 mi. hiking path just off the pavement loop east of the Lake inlet. We were there in April, and the tree pollen was VERY heavy.

The time at Parker Creek was amazing. Clean bathhouse, trash emptied daily, and the rangers are helpful. We love to hike and ride our bikes around the park along with the surrounding area. We were in site 11 which was level, the only down side is the picnic table is on the back side of the camper, the stairs are on the road side. We were with a large group so it worked out well because it gave us a big area to gather, if we were camping alone it would have been a small issue.

Great location, road was a little fun to get to get in to. But gorgeous drive, good sites, bathhouses were clean and easy to get to.

Very quiet place to stay. Below average traffic so you don't have to worry to much about the kids playing or riding bikes on the road.

late in season, we were the only campers in the park which was fine. Would have stayed longer but no cell service at all.

This park could use some better signage! We came in after dark, having never been here before we had to guess at which direction to go. We found our site, but were heading the wrong direction to easily back in. The park is gorgeous, our site was across the road from the lake, which was very low. We visited in October, so were a lot of empty spaces, however the sites are not on top of each other, so even during peak season it would be a great place to stay.No cell service, didn't know that in advance, my bad. It was oddly nice to be disconnected for a few days.

Could be a lovely campground Several issues here. 1. Entry to park is not well signed. 2. Lake was extremely low and not mentioned anywhere on website. Based on the grass growing on the lake bottom, this has been an issue for a LONG time. 3. We understand that people hunt here, and dont have an issue with that, HOWEVER, across from our campsite there was a deer head UNDER the camper attracting vermin. 4. We left after one night as we did not feel safe didnt seem to be rangers and the few campers who were there made us uncomfortable

This small camping ground was great. Even on Labor Day weekend it didn't seem crowded.

Had a great time. Almost zero bugs! Yeah, it was pretty hot but nonetheless, we made the best outta 4 days there! Beautiful lake! Thanks!
@Sandrar3093215 · Camped on Jul 31, 2023 at Campsite #25
The area was beautiful. My only complaint is that the grass was not mowed , was very tall and several in our group got ticks and chiggers.
@BeckyHA5EFA15D · Camped on Jul 23, 2023 at Campsite #22
BEAUTIFUL area, but the whole park lost power our first night there and it was HOT! That, coupled with absolutely ZERO cell service, made us leave 2 days early. We were trying to get away (we're local) and work remotely, but were unable to do anything. Great big "X" on the data! Again, the area was beautiful. But we need cell service in case of an emergency. We won't be back until it is readily available.

It was a very nice park and has everything we wanted. We had a hiking trail, kayaking, and we were able to ride our bikes around. I like that they have water and electric as well. We will definitely go back!

This is a nice campground but the road to it is not made for big rigs. It is manageable but for us it is not worth it. It is narrow, steep and winding. Definitely unhook your tow if you have one before starting up. Also, there is nobody at the guard shack, no maps of campground available, and no signs directing you to the campsites. I had to walk the road to find our site so we knew which direction to drive. There is NO service at the campground, not horrible but, I could have checked the COE website for a map if there would have been service. Just would be nice to know before you get there. If you camp with a smaller camper, it might be a great spot for you.

Not going to share good things about Parker Creek because more people will try to come. I am selfish in that I would like it to stay as pristine as possible. The bathhouses do need to be updated and bring back the camp host! It is a wonderful place marred only by the crowds on holidays and weekends that bring their booze and disregard camping etiquette, such as walking through others campsites, letting their dogs off leash, playing loud music etc.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
