Rising Star Campground, Pine Bluff, AR

Rising Star Campground in Jefferson county is located just 26 min east of Pine Bluff, AR with an elevation of 199 feet. There are a total of 24 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 48 and 97 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. There is a fee of $19.00 per night. Some amenities include boat ramp, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Very clean and well maintained. Cleanest and nicest federal park I have ever been to. Camp host is very friendly. The bathroom facilities are clean modern and the hot water works. Best site is B2. Dont be afraid to book the handicap spots off season as they are the all handicapped and the only ones available.

I think this is a hidden gem of a campground. Out-of-the way, quiet and scenic beside the Arkansas river. The staff was attentive and friendly upon check-in, the restroom/shower facility was very clean, up-to-date and accessible. This is a nice place to spend a quiet and peaceful night. I would definitely stop here again.

Beautiful, well maintained park on the Arkansas river. Off the beaten path by 3 or 4 miles of asphalt. We camped in a 40ft RV and had no problems with access. The campground host was awesome.

This is a very nice park. It's always clean and quiet. We love the sites along the river because they provide the best views of the sunsets. The camp host is always friendly and helpful. This is a must stop anytime we're near Pine Bluff, AR.

We have camped here at least 4 times in 2024 and really like this campground. It's always clean and quiet and we especially like the water side sites. Everyone that has camped by us as been quiet and respectful as well. Nice area to walk around in the evenings after dinner and the views are lovely.We will definitely be back here often.

I stayed here twice for a night while on a cross-country trip. The sites were paved and level. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen in a campground. The shower was hot and had good water flow. My only complaint is that there was a possible problem with the electrical posts. When I plugged my surge protector into the 30 amp outlet, it indicated an open ground condition. I tested several other electrical posts and they all had the same problem. Other than that, I had a great experience and would highly recommend Rising Star Campground.

The park host was magnificent! She was very alert and watching everyone coming in! Kept the park safe! The grass was cut! And park was clean! I do wish there had been a place to fish from. Not really much to see in the Area, but certainly a relaxing park.

Nice Campground next to the Arkansas river. All sites are back in. Careful with loop c, as It dead ends after the last campsite and there is no turn around.

Beautiful setting by the river! Level concrete pads with water and electric. Clean, individual full bathrooms (4). Peaceful at this time. Definite return.

This is a great little campground. Most of their camp spots are on the water, they have electric, water, covered picnic tables and fire pits. Even fish cleaning tables. 1 bathhouse building, but 4 bathrooms each with toilet, sink, shower and bench.

Park is well maintained. It has a lot of room to play and has a nice playground. Plenty of shaded areas. We'll be returning.

Super nice campground kind of off the beaten path. Large rigs can fit in C loop easily but some of the sites are a hard turn off of the road. We're 42' and got into the hardest one but had to go back and forth a few times. The camp host is AMAZING!
