There was around 15 children all under the age of 13 at the camp. That’s not including the other campers that we didn’t know. The Dumas police patrolled through the camp area speeding through the camp. We had boats and cars parked along the side of the road. A child could have ran in between them at any time and they would have ran over them! Something needs to be done about the police not abiding by the speed limit.

I love camping at Wilbur D Mills. The bathrooms needs to be cleaner as far as commodes being cleaned and bathroom showers needs to be cooler. Water is too hot.

Had a really great time at Wilbur D Mills. Park was neat and clean, and park attendant came by regularly. Hope to camp there again before the park closes.

We switched from Wilber Mills to Pembleton because of the size of our RV. Great pull thru site with 50 amp service. Thanks to the gentleman at the welcome gate for helping us make new arrangements.

the camp host went out of his way to help us change campsites to one more to our liking on the water with a great view. He was actually at the plantation site and checked in campers at both Wilbur D Mills and Plantation. He also gave us info about The Arkansas Post Museum, which was a very interesting side trip for us, very informative, Lots of nice hiking trails. He also told us about eating spots nearby.

Camping spots are very well maintained. Cell service is spotty with Verizon. AT&T works pretty well.

Loved it . Ppl where really nice . Sites were very clean easy to back up in . No good views of the water but still nice trees . All the water here is so beautiful. U like fishing this is definitely the spot . No phone service at the campsite you have to go up by the open water to get a little service . Make sure you at least have a 1/2 tank of gas . U got about 15 miles to dumas to the nearest gas station n food . Pet friendly. The site are very spaced out so I barely had my pup on leash which I love cause I have one pup that like doing zooms . Site are very shaded Also . I kept my ac at 70-75 n my rv stayed cool at night I think I should’ve bought a heater .

The people that were camped in spot 10 across from us were burning motor oil or some kind of chemical out of jugs that stunk to high heaven, and I'm sure not good for the environment. It was definitely not firewood. Some kind of liquid. It worries me about camp cooking on firepits in the future.

This is a beautiful place! We saw three eagles and many other birds including giant white pelicans! Love the sandy river! Very quiet and nice sized lots.

Campground was older which featured mature trees on most sites and many had shed roofs over the pick Nick tables. Bath houses could use new toilet seats and some attention to the faucets which give you a bath when you wash your hands 😂. Other than that sites are spacious and we had a nice stay.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
