Nice, clean, well maintained. Easy to get to. The spot I was in had a bad slant to it, about 13" in 14'. I had to back way into the spot for my 25' water hose to reach.

Our time at Heber Springs Park was overall wonderful. The location of the park is convenient to many activities in the Heber Springs area.

We love Heber Springs Park. The cor of engineers have did a lot of updating to the Park in area A with water and electricity now. and its really nice! We stayed in site D59 and it has electricity and a spectacular view and plenty of Parking. Plus lady at attendant both is very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to stay again in the spring. Bath houses kept clean and toilet paper stocked!! Sincerely Michelle

Loved this secluded camp spot. Very quiet. Its right on the end of the campground and has a private beach that is great for swimming and walking along the shore. We had a tent, so the only problem was the ground is gravel which isnt the most ideal to sleep on. But other than that, we loved our weekend getaway!

The first few days were great. Gate person very nice and friendly Friday noisy crew came in and 3 am were blasting music. All the rest of the weekend same thing. Talked to gate person and she said couldnt help as they had no Rangers. Just call the sheriff I was told. Maybe next will be better.

We have stayed in several spots in the campground because our boat is in the marina there. They could improve by cutting the grass around the spots. Bathhouse is always decent.

Beautiful campground. This site has amazing views. The bluffs were beautiful.

The "Basic/Non-Electric" tent & RV camping areas are well kept and nicely equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. The three nights I stayed were pleasantly (almost!) mosquito-free. The restrooms and showers are clean and well designed for privacy. I plan on returning to explore the trails sometime soon. Overall very impressed and would highly recommend! God Bless :)

Great site on the water. Mid day is a little sunny, but beautiful spot.

This was a excellent campsite and was shaded all day long. It is about a 5 min walk to the beach and about 5 minutes to the bathrooms. Shower houses are HOT and almost like a sauna in the evening. There needs to be a fan to circulate the air. We will be coming back soon.

We enjoy staying in Heber Rec D 54; however, this last visit on Saturday morning a very large group of people camped in the spot nearly on top of us. We counted about 20 people and 4-6+ tents. They were fairly quiet thankfully. They left the next morning. We felt like the number of people and vehicle limit was very likely exceeded (we counted at least 4 cars). We've camped at Heber Rec for years and never experienced this before. Their close proximity was very awkward for everyone.

This is a very large campground and we were not able to book a site near the water due to availability. The sites were well spaced. The main shower and bathroom area were clean, but we had to drive to get to them. The closer bathrooms were not clean. Our site required much more leveling than anticipated and the pictures of it were not indicative of that. There was not level ground adjacent to the pad making it difficult to set up seating and tables. The sunsets were spectacular and cell signal was good for both ATT and Verizon. We plan to go back and will focus on a level site closer to the water.

We love this campground! This was our second trip. We are a large group (7-8 people, 2-3 tents) and the spots are more than big enough to accommodate us. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Bathrooms/showers are always clean. Spot B5 was our favorite so far!

Beautiful setting. Clean with electricity at every site, tables, pits and bathrooms primitive but clean. Loved camping there

We had a wonderful time at Heber Springs Park. The facilities were great, the campsite we used had a spectacular view of the lake and we were very comfortable there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Always a favorite place for us to camp.

We tent camped & the site was great. We were in E8 & our friends had E7 & that worked great! The bathroom was pretty good - short, easy walk from our site. It could be cleaner & I wish they provided soap. Its a pretty park & lake. We would go again!

We went for the total eclipse and had a fabulous time. D41 is like having the corner lot!

The person at the gate did not check names for my reservation. He misunderstood the site number when I gave it to him. It took me over an hour dealing with other camps to finally find the proper one. Camp itself is fine. Female showers need updating. Rec.gov need to provide street address of camp. That would have eliminate the confusion as to where to go. Googling it took me to the corps of eng office which was closed. Locals call the camp names differently. It was stressful because daylight was running. However the camp was clean and very nice.

It was an amazing place to camp for a couple days before the eclipse. During the eclipse there was a guest who was an astronomer, another guest took some incredible pictures of the diamond ring, and another guest had a huge telescope that we were able to look into. Overall a great experience.

My only complaint would be there isn't a water spigot at each campsite .
@JohnT2915386 · Camped on Apr 6, 2024 at Campsite #E12
Beautiful campground and facilities. Parking pads were a quite rough with tree roots under the asphalt but we managed.

My experience at the park was wonderful. Getting there was an adventure! Plugged the coordinates into Google maps and Apple only to be led astray. 89 Park Drive is the actual address.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
