Great campsite! Lake access to look at the cliffs and swim at the very bottom of them! Bathrooms above campsites, firepit, picnic table, pretty much everything you need at a campsite!

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves and the weather was perfect. We went and climbed sugarloaf mountain, which is a must.

We love staying at dam site park on greers ferry lake! Anything and everything you may need is 5 minutes away! Heber Springs has a walmart, gas stations, restaurants, dollar stores, ice machines, places to buy wood and much more! We love jumping off the cliffs behind H 12-16. If you don't want to jump you can still get to the water by using the cliffs as stairs.

Great spot. Near the restroom and beach. However, it took all the sunlight during the day due to fewer trees around that camping site. I would say during the Fall, and Spring, that site would be a great spot for camping.

Great place to camp in the summer. It has 2 swimming areas in the lake to cool off. There are some trails nearby for when the weather is cooler. Wish it had full hook ups and more sights with water.

this site is completely unlevel. We had a pop up, and could not get level. not suitable for campers at all. Due to campground being full, no help from the office either.

Our site number was J07. To be fair we arrived later than check in time, it was starting to rain and well it was very very dark. It was very hard to get into this particular site for the above mentioned reason but also because someone had parked their boat in such a way it was making it hard to back into our site. One of the most surprising issues was no water hook ups. I'm sure I just overlooked this fact but we need full service and this was disappointing. There is a lake and there are optimal viewing areas but of course we weren't at one of those areas. Couldn't see the lake for the forest. Many of the sites are extremely shaded. We had a 1 night reservation and well... we didn't even unhook. :(

The website let me book a spot that my rv wouldnt fit into. The good folks at the gate were very helpful and let me move into a much better spot, then my rv broke down and I didnt get to camp at all. Our daughter had bought a camper, their first, and our plan was to camp with them. So we gave them the spot, and drove back and forth, as their site was small too. We had fun hanging out with them and our grandkids. Not really anyones fault, just a rough weekend! If the filters on the campsite would flag the length and width of campers, like they should, some of our trouble may have been avoided. On the positive side, the couple at the gate were top notch. Also, there was one park ranger, her name was Sara I believe, she also helped us. They let me park our camper at the guard shack over the weekend. At the time I was trying to get someone to help fix it, the motor on the front jacks burned up, literally, I blew out the flames! Wound up bringing it home and fixing it myself. We camp at JFK often, and we have been there since this incident, camper is fine and we will come back soon to Damsite. I think we were just trying to get a couple sites together to camp with our kids, on short notice, and the sites that were available were too small. I couldnt see that by looking at the map, and the website let me book. .

Our first site was very un even. We could not get out RV level. We were able to switch to another one the next day and it was much better. The facilities were very clean. We had a great time!

The camp site was spacious and ideal for us. We scheduled a last minute girls trip amd we were able to park our 22ft trailer on this site, and we brought a generator since this site was non-electric. Most folks in the area had them too. We will come back to this spot if necessary or if we plan a trip last minute. The facilities are good. The push button showers would only stay on a few moments and then shut off so plan for a quick shower. We didn't do too much except my kids wanted to go to the swim area or ride their bikes. Overall, we had a great time considering it was a holiday weekend.

It was very loud through the night with partying and loud music. We couldnt use the bathroom in our loop because the only other group in our section was in their smoking.

We have been staying at the Dam site for years. Love the seclusion and the view. We always stay in I12. Not an easy spot to back your trailer in. Nothing more than 20ft probably. But it is worth it!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
