Bathrooms were clean. Only one shower had hot water. Mowing all around our tent on Monday morning was terrible. Otherwise, beautiful sunsets and peaceful.

Very nice view of the lake and damn from our campsite. Close to Eureka Springs. Felt very safe and the camp host was friendly. Enjoyed the swimming beach area.

The siren was clean and beautiful, the neighbors friendly. The pit toilets were gross, with peoples trash and tons of flies. But the island shower/toilets were clean and easy to use, jist far from our campsite.

Beautiful campground! We camped right on the water. The roads getting to the campground are steep and curvy so go slow!

Loved this campgroundwe were right on the water, so we didnt have to go far to get kayaks and paddle board in the water! The CG was quiet, and we were close to Eureka Springs if we needed anything!

We were only there for the night but it was very peaceful. Great views. Not too close to neighbors. Well kept park. We had been to Eureka Springs for a massage at Palace House Hotel so it wasn't too far and the drive was beautiful. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent sight with beautiful views of the water. Only one close neighbors so plenty of privacy. Full hookups were excellent.

Even though this site is not directly on the water, you still have a very nice view of the water from the site. Close enough to the bathrooms but not too close. Site has plenty of space so you don't have neighbors that are too close.

Nice park. Water clarity is awesome. The park has a over-population of Geese. Unfortunately during our stay there had been rain storms the week prior this cause elevated biological levels in the water just around the park (which is an island), thus closing the park from swimming or water activities. It was the only park on Beaver Lake that that had "no swimming". The process is that the park service must have two sequential samples come back negative prior to opening the swimming / water activities. They don't get in a hurry to perform the sampling so consequently they stay closed for extended periods (weeks). Pray for dry weather when you visit.

The campsites were very close together, but we expected that. The biggest annoyance was that there was NO soap in the bathrooms. Not even soap dispensers. I can't imagine why that wasn't provided, but that needs to be addressed. Otherwise absolutely beautiful and quiet campsite.

Sites are a little close but doable. Not super happy with the way our site was set up in the middle and had no extra parking for vehicles just motorhome, site next to us was in front of us and had 2 cars parked at there site so we were blocked in.

Wonderful campground! Will definitely return.

Beautiful site- overlooking the lake. Minimal shade. Had to level 1 inch on one side to be perfect. :) water and electric at site. Pump station available. Really nice site and campground. (Clean bathrooms and flush toilets)

We had bad weather, but the camp host were very atentititive and we all weathered the storms

Loved site 11. Enjoyed having the wild geese visit everyday and sort of have a private beach. Will be visiting again!

Love this location
@WesT8384386 · Camped on May 16, 2024 at Campsite #30
Site 30 is a great spot as you are close to the lake's edge on 2 sides. You can observe the lake activities easily. Be prepared as you are some distance from conveniences. Eureka Springs is several miles away, but an interesting town to visit.

Felt like park rangers need to be more visible and control the unauthorized use of the dam site camping area for day use patrons or maybe have another park attendant that can be at the guard shack - alternate? We saw the same vehicles almost daily during our 6 day stay, setting up sun shades and occupying the beach and the point on the peninsula. I feel this is becoming a major problem. Also, 20-30 people and 10 tents in one campsite???

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
