There are no signs designating which areas are which. There was a lot of tornado damage that we werent warned about. Otherwise it was a decent quiet campground. Its a long windy road getting back there though.

Love this park and I always have a great experience. I think the park needs a little up keep

Campsite was nice and clean. There's no water at the campsite, but there is a water hydrant located across the street from the campsite. The shower host shower had warm water and worked well. There was a burn ban at the time I was there so we couldn't have a campfire.

Campsites were well maintained, even after the recent tornados. we had an excellent view of the lake from our spot. Bathrooms were well maintained and kept very clean as well. Will definitely be going back!

This site was extremely nice. It was right on the water and you could listen to the waves all night long. The only downside was that the large hill blocked our AT&T signal. We could only get one bar, so service was extremely limited. We wound up hiking to a higher point to send texts and downloaded movies. Otherwise, this is one of the better spots.

This is a great area. Unfortunately the May 2024 tornados did quit a bit of damage to the marina and forest, the camping is still excellent. This is a great pull through spot next to the water with the camp side facing away from the water. The beautiful lake is still easily enjoyed and lake access is immediate. Perfect 5G cell service. Water and sewer at the site, would have been nice. Water access is less than 100 feet away, we use a water bladder and electric pump to refill. Excellent camp ground host!

I loved this spot because it's secluded from all the others. It is surrounded by trees, which gives an air of privacy. There's no view of the lake, but that's okay... it's just a short hike away.

Campground is beautiful with amazing views. The breeze off the water on the loop is amazing! We camped for 10 days and enjoyed it mostly. The biggest issues that could easily be resolved was the bathrooms, showers and speeding. On day two, we went to use the showers and they were disgusting. The women side was backing up with standing water and the mens side had human feces everywhere. We called the Army core, and notified them of the situation in which they did finally fix the problem with the showers. The restrooms in the campground next to the water where the loop is are flushing toilets, in which is nice. But, they did work half the time and took a couple days to get anyone to come work on them. Another issue we had was with how fast people drove Thur the campground and around the loop. We had small kids playing and riding their bikes, it was dangerous for how much traffic went Thur a dead end loop. What Angered me the most was even the camp hosts were driving too fast, making their arounds! All in all, we have been going to Rock Branch Campground for years and never had these issue. Dont know what has changed but, needs to be addressed! Thanks

Great place

The lake is beautiful, clear water and most of the sites in the lake loop have a view of the lake. The upper loop is wooded and the sites are larger. There are several places to pull a boat up in the lake loop. The bathrooms are VERY poorly laid out and haven't been really CLEANED in a LONG time. The showers are located at the front of the campground area - quite a walk if you don't have a bike or tow vehicle.

We absolutely love this campground, except the bathrooms. You have to flush the toilets two or three times to get them to flush. There's usually one stall locked, so only one available. There's a great hike about 9 minutes away. Lots of wildlife to enjoy.

Beautiful small campground,near Hobbs State Park and War Eagle Mill/cavern. Close towns are Rogers and Eureka Springs. We stayed on site 16 30amp only,located on a short peninsula.

Bathrooms were horribly dirty and toilets slow to flush. Never saw a ranger type to report to.

We had a great time at the sights in and around the Bentonville/Rogers area. However, the campground was the most poorly designed and maintained Corps campground in which we have ever stayed. We never saw a host, ranger, or maintenance person the entire time (five nights). The men's restroom had a filthy plugged stall that received no attention the entire time. The toilets in both the men's and the women's restrooms were difficult to flush; trashcans were not provided and the sanitary waste receptacle (women's side) were crammed full and obviously never emptied, The shower house was inconvenient and lacked toilets and lavatories. Our campsite and others were rated for camping equipment longer than they could functionally handle adequately. A number of sites are only usable by a self-contained vehicle/camper. We have stayed at many beautiful and well-designed and maintained Corps of Engineers campgrounds. Rocky Branch was a disappointment.

Rocky Branch is a nice place to stay. We have camped it twice. However, I would give it a much higher rating if they had water available for the sites instead of having to fill your fresh water tank to have water. The shower facility is not the greatest for a place that does not let you hook up to water at your campsite.
@BarbaraMB9747D · Camped on Oct 13, 2023 at Campsite #7
Site were pretty. Bathrooms need attention. Seems like a water leak near one of the toilets.

Great place to bring young kids. We have such a great time we have to have a camp out here Atleast once a year. We hiked through the woods and found edible mushrooms and walked the shore and found shells. Constant campfires and simple fun!

Rocky Branch is a favorite of ours, we enjoy the peace and quiet of the location, the campground is always immaculately maintained, and the access to the water is perfect. Definitely on our lets go again list!
@JamesW5759385 · Camped on Oct 2, 2023 at Campsite #16
It would be nice to have more level stuff to walk on. Had to make a few paths to the water just to safely walk. I find this with many of the Beaver Lake sites. To think y'all are wanting to purchase or take lake land owner land and you can't even maintain what you have.

Nice campground, great views. Well maintained

Some campsites are heavily damaged from flooding from a year ago. There is construction ongoing during the weekdays but not too early or too late. Water views from nearly every campsite. We had campsite 7 and will definitely be back. The hosts are the sweetest elderly couple ever. I only gave 4 stars due to the construction and the peninsula campsites being closed.
@HolleyP952E4E7 · Camped on Aug 18, 2023 at Campsite #10
This is one of my favorite campgrounds at Beaver Lake. You can walk right down to the water from the site. Tent set up is on the gravel, but its flat. Restrooms are decent and right across from the site. The marina is only a short drive around the bend-perfect for last minute drinks, ice, etc. The showers are a bit further down the road but always hot. Beautiful views of the sunrise and sunsets. Will return again and again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
