We stayed in RV site 30. The pad needed repair and enlarged. But over all, the campground was nice and the swimming area was good. Will definitely stay there again. Just not in RV site 30.

Every year we have stayed at the same spot, this year the swim area was extremely crowded and the crowd of people were a younger crowd, and not so friendly. We shortened our stay because it just wasnt peaceful and enjoyable like it used to be.

This is a great shady area that has nice views of the lake through the trees. Bathroom needs updated and the "beach" was a disappointment with no sand and painful rocks to walk on to get out to the swimming area. We have visited other Beaver lake campgrounds and was hoping for more sand on the beach area. Host was great and friendly and the cove was nice. However there were too many boats and seadoos coming in and out to the swim area when the kids were swimming. Very busy spot with boats and all the trucks with boat trailers lining the entire front road. Overall good experience just too busy and rocky beach for us.

Had a beautiful site during the week. Nice quiet campground, lovely views of the lake.

We stayed at site 17 which was right in front of the swim beach. It worked out pretty well since it was very hot and we swam a lot during the weekend, but there were no trees for shade and NO water hookup at this site - it appeared that none of the lake front sites had water. On the plus side, the lake front view was absolutely gorgeous. The showers were absolutely disgusting, but the toilets were flush toilets and tolerably clean. Camp hosts were very nice. I felt like the playground was in good shape and suitable for young children. I would probably camp here again at a different site with water hookup.

Loved this campground. It was great to have a waterfront site where we could easily launch kayaks. Will definitely stay here again.

We checked in on Thursday & lost power Friday night for 2-3 hours. Sunday the tornado hit and we didnt have power 3 more days. 2 out of the 6 days we camped we didnt have power. We packed up and came home early on Sunday, due to not being able to camp. I understand it was a weather related emergency, but if services were not provided a refund should be given.

This would have been excellent but the bathrooms were nasty! Campsite was great and basic maintenance was good just dont think current volunteer understood what needed to be done.

I love camping in Lost Bridge South, the only thing I don't like are the bathroom, the bathroom need repair walls and cleaning, they are so dirty and Recreation Gov must to install water in all sites.
@JulieRBA0FAD8C · Camped on May 9, 2024 at Campsite #24
I would like it to be full hook up but it was a great spot to camp for a long weekend!

Lost Bridge South is one of my favorite places to go on Beaver Lake. The area is so nice, the campgrounds are very well maintained, and the staff is excellent. I cant wait to go again!

COE has done a beautiful job with new sites along the shoreline (except some have electric but NO water hookups. Huh? My real disappontment is with several of the other sites. They are rated as suitable for RVs longer than 30 feet, but they have narrow, dilapidated pads with 5 to 10 dropoffs, and they are impossible to back into with a rig longer than 25 feet without going dangerously off of the asphalt. They damage RVs. I wont return to this COE facility until they update the roads and pads.

Camp sites are not updated to Handle larger 5th wheels. Very narrow spots with trees to close for slide outs. Nice area and very clean park.
@RandyTB5C7E06E · Camped on May 3, 2024 at Campsite #32
Sites are uneven and very tight for todays bigger units. The new dump site was sloped the wrong way and the water hydrant to connect your clean out hose to was 60ft away. But camp host was very helpful, nice to have a camp host on site, unlike here in Kansas.
@JamesW5759385 · Camped on Sep 24, 2023 at Campsite #13
the campsite had not been open for 2 years. they finally opened it but did not trim trees and you have to back your motorhome you had the issue of not damaging your motorhome from the low lying limbs.

The site was perfect for our motorcycle camper! Would go there again.

Very nice area and easy to get to.

Having a spot directly on the beach was amazing. A couple of the adjacent spots were closed for repairs. So it was very quiet. I didn't realize some of the beach spots didn't have water but we made due. Also there's no dump station on site so be prepared. Beautiful beautiful location!!!

The camping was good. Only issue was dog not on leash. I thought dogs were supposed to be on a leash.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
