Trip was going great. Till no fote of the park a tornado hit we love this park and spend many weeks camping here. Ever year for the last 20 years. Won't be the same now but will still enjoy it. Don and Joy are the best camp host. And go above and beyond what is required of them

Was great up until the F3 tornado and there was absolutely no communication before or after the tornado. NONE! We felt left alone with barely any cell towers still working. In fact I think our camp host left. Sirens and emergency action plans and directions would probably one day save a life. Oh and someway to keep the bathroom door closed during a tornado. Poor guy held it closed with a dog leash. Thank god for him!

We were in a tornado warning while there, and no staff were there to warn campers, direct them where to go, or assist after the tornado. It is a miracle nobody was killed. The current campground host is completely useless. There was a great deal of trash at our site when we arrived. We had to clean the site before we could use it. Just a very disappointing experience. We will not return.

First time staying in a COE campground. Very well kept, clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to book at any COE campground based on our stay here and at Lost Bridge North.

Very nice and clean campground. My only problem was the camp sites were too close together for me.

Campsites were nice but there was trash scattered around campsite (including dirty socks). My biggest complaints are the bathrooms. From what we found they have several vault toilets but only one shower house with two showers and one flushable toilet. With as many campsites that they have you would think there would be more bathroom facilities. Enjoyed our stay but probably would t go back.

A really decent and level spot with plenty of space. The loop is a little confusing with the campsites but the park attendants were helpful. We parked our pop up here for a weekend and loved the views and the weather was perfect. Note this site does not have true lake access, the site next door however does and you could probably ask your neighbor to use their trail. Other than that would totally return to this spot.

This was a great campsite, right next to the lake without neighbors and close to the bathroom. The following evening I was at a different site in a much busier area and it was not nearly as nice.Also props for very level ground for a van, a nice picnic table and water.

Nice campground with a variety of sites.
@DougS7E2223748 · Camped on Apr 9, 2024 at Campsite #35
The campsites are excellent and the setting on the lake is beautiful. However for such a large campground the bath/shower house is very small and poorly designed. Two tiny showers with no place to dress or put your things. Only one toilet, no soap, mirror, or electric at the single sink.

A great location for viewing the eclipse!

The Park is well located for those mountain bikers who wish to ride in or in the vicinity of Bentonville. Nice location with a view of the lake and fire pit. Site could have used some grading, which would have facilitated our set up. Washrooms were cleaned, but the showers could benefit from a few hooks outside the door to hang a bag otherwise all your clothing and personal belongings get wet from the shower spray. Will go back again when riding in the area. We are Canadians and Bentonville is a very good location to stop and ride for a few days if coming from Eastern Canada and heading out to Moab area.

Beautiful, clean, large sites. I visit was the end of March before the campground was truly open for the season, therefore I cant give any feedback on the restrooms or showers.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
