Jennings Ferry Campground in Marengo County is located 49 min southwest of Tuscaloosa, AL with an elevation of 107 feet. There are a total of 50 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 60 and 168 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Prices start at $28.00 per night. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground. Activities include fishing, hiking trails.

Not very happy, made us sit in boat launch area when sites were empty no reason for that. Will not be going back.

Nice big spots, always clean bathrooms. Very quiet park. Lots of fishing boats.

Great campsite with W&E. Level, on concrete pad, spacious. Distance privacy, but not much visual privacy. Fishing is the primary activity, but I did bird watching and could rack up 40 species per day with ease. Clientele was easy going and friendly. Excellent hosts. DTV channels not too numerous. Good AT&T cell coverage, 2 bar 5G. Few barges, but when passing by, can be noisy. Otherwise, a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Coming off highway is a short but steep hill. Road to the park is OK but could use a freshing up. No host at gate, must call before going to site. Hosts are friendly and kept sites clean. All sites look like they had work done as they all have a nice level concrete pad. Restrooms are also very nice and clean.

Tent camp at Site 18. The camp hosts were extremely kind and helpful due to my late arrival at 8:30pm. They escorted me to my site and checked in on me the following morning to make sure I was safe and okay as a solo camper. The grounds are well-maintained and the bath house was very clean and warm on the cold mornings.

Bathroom was sparkling. Camp host was over the top helpful, campground had free, available firewood. Campsites were on the water, had everything as described in clean working order. Even though it was February you need bug spray. All night long hoot owls, coyotes, beavers, waterfowl within listening distance of tent.

Lovely, quiet campground with friendly hosts and clean bathhouse. Keep in mind that it is not close to grocery stores or restaurants, so be prepared.

Absolutely love this place and the gate people. Restrooms are super clean. As someone who travels alone occasionally I feel very safe. I also love the long driveways to each campsite. Plenty of room between each camp.

What a fantastic campground! Very clean, peaceful, serene, up to date, level, and great cell coverage. Everything you could ask for, as well as sparkling clean restrooms.

Hosts very welcoming and bathhouse was SPOTLESS!!! Also, little carry out off main road served awesome carry out or dine in lunch/dinner Friday and Saturday. Not sure if hours expanded during summer.

Jennings Ferry is a quiet and peaceful park with tall trees, beautiful views over the water, great birding opportunities and an exceptionally clean bathhouse. The park host was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. This park is a jewel!

Three grounds were very clean and well -maintained. The bathrooms were heated and very clean. The camp host was very accommodating.

The campground was clean and the bathhouse was clean but a little cool when getting out of the shower . I love the river with the tugboats running up and the river . Volunteers at this campground help make this a good play to camp at . Very helpful and nice to talk to

Very nice park and hosts. Exceptional bathroom and showers. Love watching tugs and barges go by. Sites not crowded. We will be back!! Limited RV reception via antenna.. used hotspot for streaming via verizon.
