We traveled from Utah and our daughter in law found this campsite for us. We was really impressed clean and well maintained. We definitely will go back next year

Site is sloped front to rear, back in site 90 to main road, tent pad at rear of site several feet away. Park is well maintained

We stayed at camp site 25. It is a fairly narrow campsite but has a nice view of the lake, plus it is easy to get into the lake for boating or swimming. This was a very quiet area and the site was shady, a plus for July. The site was clean when we arrived and we picked up some trash from the nearby area.

Secluded but 15 min away is everything you could need from groceries to tons of fast food. Doesnt look like the best area for shopping/food at first but everything was clean inside and the food was great - no complaints from us at all in that regard.Our spot was beautiful but mannn was it a pain to get backed into. I have a 38ft fifth wheel and am admittedly a new RVr, but even the guy at the spot next to us said he had trouble. The site was not level and its on a roundabout which I thought would make it easier. But the circle is very very small with a tree in the dead middle. For anyone coming IGNORE the arrows and go around the circle to the left, not right. It will make backing in much better. The way its set up, nobody comes down to the circle except those staying there anyway. I do wish our picnic area was a bit more connected or had some sort of a walkway. Also had an issue with a neighbor kind of taking over the area - not super invasive, but of the full end of the peninsula, they took over about 75% or more of the waterfront bc they were there before us and left their chairs and such out. Not sure if their side was just bad water access or if they were just rude - either way plenty to go around and sadly we were only there one night as we were just passing through. Getting to the site is well marked - getting out, not so much. My GPS (google maps with metro by T-Mobile service) was fine though. I would (and will) 100% come back to Amity - it is definitely a destination spot IMO. However, Ill be a bit choosier in picking spots. Maybe. That view was incredible and it was basically just us and one other RV on the end of the peninsula. Plenty of room to spread out. Doggo loved the space and walking down on the water. We could look out the window and watch the ducks swimming from the RV. Did have ants and huge mosquitos (or whatever big ole insects those were) but thats expected at a campground in the South.

Beautiful park. We stayed 1 night. Our trip happened to be at the end of the cicadas. Lady in the gate house said that it was much better than 3 weeks prior to our stay. Friendly staff. We reserved site 33 and in our opinion it was the best site. Enough space between sites and perfect amount of shade. We definitely plan to return for another visit at this park.

Very enjoyable week. Restrooms around sites 23 thru 30 could be updated, but other than that great overall experience. Will be back.

Beautiful camping site on a peninsula surrounded by waters of a large lake. Restrooms were clean and supplied with garbage cans (unlike other campgrounds where used feminine products and other thrash have been thrown on the bathrooms floor). Highly recommend this site.

The camp ground was very clean and spacious but we did not like how the camp site was laid out.The fire pit and picnic table were both in separate areas from the actual camper site.

Always enjoy Amity. Great places for my little girl to ride her bicycle. Sites are spacious and plenty far away from other sites. Bath houses clean. Excellent boat ramp and big parking lot to leave boat when not fishing.

Great waterfront site with only a few sites in this section, thus very little traffic noise.

Amity was a beautiful, well maintained Corp of Engineers campsite, and helpful, polite staff, just as we have come to expect from COEs. Easy power and water hookup, flat pad for our RV, good roads. The signage for the key turn to get to the park was a little small and somewhat confusing to us. Other than that, it was a great stay.

A real gem located on the border of Alabama and Georgia. Beautiful campsites on the water and the grounds are very clean.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
