We love staying at Watchman, its so beautiful. My only complaint this time was the bathrooms at the campground were closed, for us it wasn't a big deal since we were in a self contained rv, but I imagine it was inconvenient for the tent campers.

nice campsite, bathroom, garbage facilites and water all closeby. nice landscaping and relatively flat parking for the camper and also the tent.

Beautiful campground! Everything was clearly marked and easy to find. Our site was near others but still felt private even though.

We were in Loop B. Our site had an amazing, unobstructed 360 degree view. The cell service was good. The only negative is that there is not water spigots near the sites. We had to go the restroom areas to get water for our trailer. I recommend loop A and B. Sites are spacious and leveled.

This campground needs the following improvements:1) Recycling station--this is imperative. Everything is being thrown in the trash bin. This is not environmentally conscious.2) Some sort of metal storage area for food storage due to deer and critters--you have walk in sites for folks with no vehicles, yet you require food to be stored in a car or hard sided cooler. Campers with no vehicle will certainly not be walking in with a cooler. These two items are part of any campground that strives to preserve the wilderness and environment.

Great site, close to visitor center, accessible bathroom/water/dump station. Reservation interface easy to use.

It's a lovely campsite with a really inexpensive rate in a great location. BUT in very high demand, rangers were unhelpful, no water at site, hard to find our site (53B?). About 20% of the sites were vacant, when the campground was shown as full. Recommendation: allow sites unoccupied and without a phone call reconfirmation, by, say, 6 PM to go to first come first served.

Great campground. Beautiful scenery around. The bathroom toward end of D Loop has warm water and the bathroom itself is heated which is nice during cold weather days. Within walking distance to the Visitor center and to the shuttle stops (both for Zion and for Springdale).

Very nice and clean. My issues with the campground were my own. My tent was not free standing (semi-freestanding) and the earth at each site looked really nice but was as hard as a rock. I couldn't set up my tent at all, I had to sleep in my vehicle. Bathrooms were really nice. A lot of people. I would gladly go back again!

Very nice campground, spacious and clean - good for tent or RV. Good facilities.

In short, bring earplugs! Noisy, disrespectful campers making trips to the bathroom at 2am and letting their diesel truck run for 15 minutes just 20 feet from our tent. Yelling boys in the group area at 7:30am. "Social Sallys" drinking and talking loudly 25 feet from our tent until midnight. Construction noise from the "improvements" their making to the north campground starts before sunrise. Another camper got up in the middle of the night and ran their car for over an hour, again about 25 feet from our tent. Someone finally got up and told them to turn it off or leave. They drove away. We stayed 4 nights and two of those got very little sleep. I would never stay in this campground again and I have a National Parks Pass!!

Great campground, great sites, clean bathrooms, the only negative is there needs to be showers somewhere.

Great place with firepit between the rocks of Zion.You can walk to the busstop to visit the hikes and trails of Zion.

Beautiful spot. Close to bathrooms and dumpsters. But main thing was waking up with the towering Zion mountains all around, the Watchman being main focus, and seeing all the stars at night. Was amazing.

Fantastic experience at Watchman! We stayed in early-Nov, having booked the last campsite available at the time in July. Campsite could not be in a better location. Short walk into the village for any supplies, food/drink, gear, etc., bus stop is right there, access to several trailheads nearby. We chose D037 and it was near enough other sites, but big enough and secluded enough that we didn't have any issues with noise or anything like that. Can't beat the views being right under the Watchman. Highly recommend!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
