Great campground located near Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. Small enough to not get too busy and beautiful scenery.

Hosts were super friendly. A bison was a few yards from the campground, ready to greet me (but also in no way scary). It’s a small campground, but In the heart of the valley.

Loved hearing the creek at night when all else was silent. Buffalo were grazing in the area just 20 feet from our campsite. Great location. Wonderful stargazing on clear nights.

Both of the roads in the park leading to the campsite were closed. In order to get here we would have had to drive all the way around the park and into the one entrance by which it was accessible. We found other campsites and I think I should get a refund for not being able to physically get to the campsite.

Pebble Creek was great, a nifty little campground out of the way from the rest of Yellowstone. Road from Canyon to Tower is closed for all of 2021, so be aware that it might be a longer drive back to the rest of the park than expected. The camp hosts were funny and friendly; a bison walked right through our site while we were talking and the camp host laughed it off like it happened all the time. Besides that, other campers were respectful and bathrooms were clean, so there's not much more you could ask for.

Location was perfect for exploring northeast corner and for going into Cooke City. Camp hosts met us as we pulled in. They were friendly and went over all rules, concerns, etc. Bathrooms were kept cleaned and stocked. We had a beautiful site right on the creek. Some other sites weren’t as private or roomy. Overall, if you are ok with vault toilets, this is a wonderful spot!

Beautiful campground near Lamar Valley and hiking trailheads. We had Bison and a Black Bear come into the Campground. Tight for our 28' camper. Camp hosts Matt & Kimberly and the volunteer were wonderful and helpful.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
