The camp host was incredible. He provided great insight on hikes and sights. The campsite itself was great, quiet and close to water and vault toilets. The nearby hike within the campground was also beautiful!

This campground was spotless and in a wonderful area of the park, close to Mammoth Hot Springs.

Appreciated the rules for protecting wildlife such as pouring all dish water in the toilet and no hammocks or clotheslines during the elk rut. Also appreciated the bear proof trash cans and recycling trash cans being away from the main camping area - this made emptying trash items quieter.

We had a very nice site on the outside of loop B. It was very spacious, and forested behind

Indian Creek isn't the best location being about 20 minutes or so from the amenities of Mammoth and a similar amount from Norris Geyser Basin. However, the sites were excellent with bathrooms and water nearby. However I'd probably choose Mammoth in the future.

Quiet at night. A little out of the way to easily experience all of Yellowstone Park, located in the NW corner, you must travel more than if central location.I didn't do my homework before booking and realized after arriving, there are no showers on the property.

Clean campsites and restrooms. My reservation was attached to the campsite marker post and made it simple to find my spot. Thanks!

Nice place. And the placeward was really a nice person and explained all the rules.

We had trouble getting into our site due to overhanging trees and trying to get level. We had booked 3 nights. Went back to reception, and they very happily relocated us to a better site that was not booked. So for all of our 3 night stay we moved each day which was no problem as we were away early exploring the park each day. Very accommodating staff doing everything they could to make our stay comfortable.

Excellent campsite -access to trails. being in trees with lots of space between, well kept, quiet, wild life so close ie elk, bison, deer, the creeks, . It seemed every camper realized the treasure the camp is and respected the camp and hosts. Hosts excellent and did a great job with grounds and people. Privacy of camp a good idea ie ONLY campers allowed via signs at entrance. a great place to explore. beauty just so close. thank you

Campground was quiet. Our site was large with a bear box. Elk and deer were seen in the campground at times. As with most national park campgrounds, the toilet facilities need updating.

Great tent sites! Good space, tables and fire pit! Water tap was only at beginning of loop and pit toilet with no running water was downside. Very private area 1/2 mile of a main road. Good choice if you want to be in direction of Mammoth.

Good sites with some limited privacy. Clean and a good location. Also staff is incredibly friendly. Recommended

Great quiet campground away from the crowds of the villages.

Sites are okay. Mainly overzealous camp hosts bring down this campground. For a campground that is no generators, the only noise comes from the camp host. Not sure what they are doing, but sounds like either a generator or air conditioner. Regardless, unexpected noise... coupled with the constant driving around with their go cart (propane?) checking on everyone. I would expect the host to be the most quiet, not the noisiest. Also, they are right on top of you exactly at 10am check out. I always work to follow the rules and was out at 10am, but the hosts are, as mentioned, are overzealous. Find new hosts and maybe we will be back to this campground.

We had site 57 for 4 nights in August, entering the park late in the day at Gardiner. It is a pull through site perfect for a popup camper. Colder that I expected two mornings but warmed up quickly once the sun was over the treetops. Two thunderstorms while we were there but no big puddles anywhere. The campsite was decent, good table and bearbox, close to water and toilet. They are serious about all things that might attract bears. We got a written warning for leaving a cook stove attached to our popup camper while we were away from the campsite.I'm glad we stayed in the park after seeing the long lines in the early morning to enter the park at West Yellowstone. There was no wait to reenter there after noon.

I really liked the campground. Nice setting and scenery, amenities were fine. I am giving the experience 3 stars instead of 3 or 5 because we had an oddly-configured site, and our tents were very close to the fire ring for the next site. One night the campers in the next site were up late around their fire and we had a hard time getting to sleep. Most other sites in the campground were better situated.

Quaint campground. This spot is a little tight with a neighbor close by but still is beautiful and has a straight shot walk to a secluded river.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
